Wait a sec...

Lilac's POV

Where am I...?  I tried to open my eyes, but they felt too heavy. I felt I was in some kind of bed. What happened?  I thought to myself. All I remember is that... I trembled thinking about the demon ripping apart our home amongst the bodies of my friends and family. I was crying so bad. And then Alias... Oh God Alias! I remembered frantically trying to open my eyes. All I remember is a bright light, and then everything went black... 

Still struggling to open my eyes, I hear a door close. I immediately pretend I'm asleep.

"I hope they wake up soon. Coretha is sure getting worried," said the mysterious woman. She sounded concerned and timid. 

"Well, there's not much we can do at the moment. We just have to wait and see if the princesses awaken soon," said a man's voice. His was stern but still gentle. It's complicated to explain.

Wait a sec... I think to myself. PRINCESSES?!?! 

Alias' POV

I woke up a while ago. However, I could barely open my eyes, let alone move! So, instead, I just laid there in what felt like a bed, thinking about what just happened. I remembered everything so vividly. The Demon. Lilac crying. Mom and dad... I felt almost empty inside. They're gone. It's a lot to take. It's hard to believe my goofy dad and loving mom are gone. 

I decide that now isn't the time to mourn. Right now, I need to figure out how Lilac and I used magic! There is absolutely no trace of magic blood on neither my dad's nor mom's side of the family!

I just laid there, thinking for a while.

Now that I think about it, mom never talked about grandma and grandpa. In fact...

*Flashback*

"Hey, mama?" A little Alias asked. Her mother looked over smiling. "Yes, dear?" " What were grandma and grandpa like?" the little Alias asked. 

Alias watched as her mother's face went from smiling to an almost flustered look. "Can we... not talk about this right now, honey? I'm making dinner. Why don't you and Lilac go play?" she said, putting on a strained smile.

"O-okay..." Alias said leaving with a confused look on her face. She went off to play with Alias, wondering what her mom was hiding from her...

*End of Flashback*

I wonder who my grandma and grandpa were... I just shrugged it off my mind. 

I stay laying there for quite a while after that, thinking about everything.

I'm pretty sure Lilacs doing the same thing right now...

I heard a door open, then close, so I stayed still and quiet and decided to listen.

"I hope they wake up soon. Coretha is sure getting worried," said a woman. I wonder if it's that pretty woman that found us... I stayed still and listened closer.

"Well, there's not much we can do at the moment. We just have to wait and see if the princesses awaken soon," said a man. Who the hell is he? I wonder to myself. There weren't any guys there when she found us!

Wait... did he say... I thought. PRINCESSES?
