*Liz's POV*
"OMG Nate you're such a perv" I said playfully swatting his arm.
We were sitting under a tree talking before our classes start for the day.
"For real Liz, look at her curves, she's hot" he said grinning at me with that lopsided smile that made me laugh everytime he smiled.
I smiled the exact same way and that was one of the only similarity we have.
He is only a year younger than me and we are really close. He is really popular with girls and all the girls at school like him. He can be really silly but I love him so much.
"That's all you say about all the girls you cassanova" I said and looked at the girl he was talking about. I had never seen her around school so she was probably a new student, she looked around my age and I wondered if she was in my class. Truth be told she did have mad curves but that was not what I noticed about her.
She had really long hair that covered half of her face and I couldn't get a good look at her face.
"Nice ass" Nate yelled out and winked at her,the kind that girls usually melt for,but she glared at him and gave him the middle finger. I couldn't help but burst into laughter but I stopped mid laugh when she looked at me the same way and I saw hurt in her eyes and something more.
I wanted to know more about this mystery girl.

*Erika's POV*
"Gosh I hate this school already" I thought as I walked around the school lost.
It was my first day here and already I could tell that it was going to be a tough time for me. I was given a map of the school but I still couldn't find my way around. Not that I had much help from anyone.
I was dropped off by my mum because my dad had an emergency to attend to at the hospital and she just left me at the gate and drove off. I felt so abandoned and I made up my mind to keep to myself and just go through the year without any friends or drawing any attention to myself.
That was proving to be hard because I was being stared at like some freak and I just wanted to disappear.
A couple of unserious kids were even bold enough to call out my ass and they both found it really funny. The girl among them was laughing at first then she gave me a look like she was pitied me..
It took me a while to find my class and when I did classes were already in session. As soon as I stepped in all eyes were on me and I was so uncomfortable. I could hear their thoughts "who is she? ","who shows up at the last year of school ","she's so ugly","blah blah blah ".
I put on my most badass look and tried not to stare back as I was being introduced to the class by the teacher.
A face caught my eye. It was the girl from earlier. She was looking at me and smiling.
