I went into my room and instantly started bawling in my bed. I was going through a tough time that no one would understand. Everyone would just think I'm crazy or that something's wrong with me.
I hear my door squeak open. I lift my covers over my head and try to stop crying and sniffling so I don't have to explain myself to whoever this is.
"Hey, Alex," I heard my mom's voice greet, "Do you know where the lotion is?"
With my head still under the covers, I replied, "Yes, it's in the bathroom."
I guess she could hear the pain in my voice, because she replied, "Are you okay? What's wrong?"
"Nothing I want to talk about."
"Well okay. You can come to me if you want to talk about it, though."
I lifted the covers off of my head, because there's no point to hiding my tears when she could tell something was wrong anyways.
"Okay, thanks mom."
She nodded and left my room, closing the door.
I stopped crying, but I was still sniffling really hard.
I decided to express my self through writing since I couldn't talk to anybody else about what I was feeling.
I rolled over and took my phone from off of my night table, and went into Notes:

Putting these feelings into words made me want to sob even more, so I powered my phone down, placed it back on my night table, and went to sleep
