Chapter 18

(Katniss P.O.V)

I can't believe that he did that. He saved my life.

Finn and Cato is driving the group to the hospital. I'm crying furiously and can't calm down. If Gale die I will never forgive myself. Peeta is trying to comfort me but I don't want him to hold me and tell me everything is gonna be fine. He said that he got his fake leg when he saved a little girl from getting hit by a car and he thinks it worth it but he didn't save me so does that mean that he doesn't think I'm worth it but Gale is? Me and Gale never fight so why did me and Peeta do it? Maybe we are to different and aren't meant to be? Maybe it was a mistake to break up with Gale. Ugh! I'm so confused.

When I look around myself I see that we already are in the waiting room and that I'm shaking.

Peeta is sitting beside me and hold me close to him but I jerk away. The hole group look at me confused.

"What's wrong Kat?" Peeta ask me.

"Maybe this was a mistake, maybe I shouldn't have left Gale for you. I mean me and Gale never used to fight. I think I still love him Peeta. I think we are to different and aren't mean to be together. He just saved my life while you didn't do anything! I'm sorry Peeta and I don't want you to cut or hurt yourself in anyway but we are over Peeta. I want to go back to Gale. I'm sorry, I really am!" I explain as calmly as I can without hurting him.

I see the tears in his eyes but he just stand up and walk over to an another chair away from us and put his head in his hand.

Everybody look at me chocked and just when Clove was going to say something the doctor come out and asked about Hawthornes family and friends.

"He is gonna be fine! It wasn't that bad but he lost a lot of blood thought. We get him the blook and he just have to rest a while to recover." The doctor tell us and I sigh in relif.

"Can we see him?" I ask.

"Of course! He just woke up."

I run into his room and just when he looked up to see who it was my lips crashed to his.

After a few minutes someone cleared their throat and we pulled away blushing.

Now I have my Gale back.

*1 Month later*

Knock Knock!

Today is mine and Gales first date in a long time.

He said he has a surprise for me and I just can't wait. I'm wearing a green strapless dress. Its to my knees.

I'm so excited.

Me and Peeta see each other every day but we haven't really talked.

I run down the stairs and swing the door open. There he stand more handsome than ever.

I crash my lips to his. When we pull away he chuckles a little and tell me that I'm pretty. Aww! He is so sweet.

We reach the meadow hand in hand and I see that he have set up a picnic and there besides them I see a guitar?

I look at him confused but he just put me down so I'm sitting beside him.

He look inside a book before he takes the guitar and say:

"Science we begin dating I have write songs about how I feel"

He begins to play and sing:

I can't believe he actually writed that.

I don't remember so much more from that night expect that it was one of the best night in my life so far.
