Chapter 29

(Annie's P.O.V)

The contest is after the storm has died down. So that mean I have more time to learn how to play the song really good. I have to admit Peeta is amazing.

Everybody is going to spend the storm week at my house even the parents... we'll expect Peeta's mother. Everybody just come here and are shaking of the cold. Peeta is holding Katniss and I can't help but feel jealous.

"It's freezing cold!" Cato say.

"You don't say!" Peeta's brother Jake say sarcastically and we all laugh.

"I will do some hot chocolate to everyone if it's ok with you Miss and Mr Cresta!" Mr. Mellark ask.

"Oh no I will do it!" My mom say.

"No no no I will!" Mr. Mellark insist and stand up.

"I will help you daddy!" Peeta say and walk after him.

Katniss look at him and smile.

Marvel lay his arm around Glimmer and she lay her head on his chest. Finnick is sitting besides me.

Should I break up with him?

"WHAT?!?!" Finnick shouts.

"What's wrong?" Peeta ask running into the room with his dad.

"Are you gonna br-break up with me?" He ask me.

I said that out laud?

"I...I Finnick I really am sorry but I think I'm in love with someone else!" I blurt out and Finnick let his tears flow down. His mother, father and his little sister Lilly is fast by his side telling him it's ok. The other are looking at me with wide eyes and I fell a little guilty but what else was I suppose to do?

Peeta sit besides him and rub his back.

"Don't cry. Look into her eyes Finn and say: Thank you for giving me the chance to find someone better than you!" He say and Finnick look up at him with a little bit of hope in his eyes.

Peeta open his mouth to say something but closes it fast and stand up. He walk out the room and come back with his guitar. He take a deep breath and begin to sing:

Finnick smile a small smile and hug Peeta.

"You are the best cousin ever!" He say to Peeta.

Peeta just chuckle a little and of course Colve's dad just had to ask the question:

"Who are you in love with?"

I look down ashamed but before I know the word of it I blurt out:

"Peeta..."

He looks at me wide eyed along with everyone else.

"It's just... It's just that I love how you make me feel and how you put everyone before yourself. I love how you can make anyone smile and I love how you just can forgive everyone and that you have a big heart. I love your big blue eyes who always shine when you happy and how the coloured them change along with your mode. You are so cute and handsome. Your smart and I'm falling in love with you really hard!" I say before I even have a chance to think about it.

I lean down and kiss him but he pull away.

"It's not that I don't love you Ann cause I really do... but not more than a sister-brother love. My heart already belong to Katniss and I'm head over heals in love with her and nothing can change that!" He say to me trying not to hurt me.

Katniss is smiling brightly looking at him but she still have

tears in her eyes.

"You knew how much I loved him but you still didn't give a damn about it!" She say and walk out from the living room.

Peeta run after her and here we are the rest of us in a awkward silence...
