Realisation

Warnings: Nothing much just some swearing and mentions of TimKon. 

"Nice work Robin." Aqualad praised the acrobat. "Kid Flash don't let your guard down so easily." Aqualad stated as he got his water bearers ready again.

"Wait- Robin?" The other Robin lowered his weapons hearing his name. But clearly the enemy wasn't referring to himself, he seemed to be acknowledging their partner.. The one who threw the birdarang.

He turned towards Robin, observing the teen for a minute before he finally came to realise.

"...Grayson?"

Robin stiffened, had he heard correctly. Did this boy actually know his identity?

The other Robin put his weapons away, seeing Robin's reaction to his name meant it was definitely Grayson. He had somehow traveled back in time to when Grayson had started this awful team. 

"So the old team huh..?" He looked at the team, it sure was the one Grayson told those annoying stories about. He slowly pieced together who was who. The tall guy with gills was sure to be Aqualad, Grayson told many stories of how Wally Kaldur and him founded the team. The girl with the bow must be Tigeress, however she appeared to be Artemis currently. The speedster was definitely Wally West, Grayson talked about him all the time it got incredibly annoying. The martian was sure to be M'gann she wasn't to interesting. And then there was Kon-El, Damian had completely forgot that Drake's foolish boyfriend was apart of this team.

"Excuse me not to ya know interrupt or anything.. But you were literally about to kill me! And now you're all chilled out because you heard the word Robin?! And what do you mean the old team?" Wally practically shouted at the boy. 

"Nonsense I'd never kill you, West. Grayson would never approve." Damian shook his head.

The rest of the team stiffened. How did this child know who Wally was?

"How.. How do you know our names?" Robin asked.

"I am from the future, Grayson. And I need to return." 

"Yeahhhhhh, I'm not buying it." Wally frowned. "You can only prove it by telling us something nobody else would know." 

"I already did, I told you Robin's and your last names? Do you need me to say more Wallace?" Damian gave Wally a disappointed look.

"Oh." Wally laughed awkwardly.

"Nice work Kid Idiot." Artemis snorted, turning to Damian. "And are you like the future Robin or something..?" Artemis asked, eyeing the boy strangely.

"Yes, I suppose so." Damian nodded.

"Why? What happened to me? Why am I no longer Robin am I dead?!" Robin panicked, he would never give up the role of Robin, he absolutely loved it. The only explanation that this kid was Robin would be that he died. 

"No." 

"Then why are you Robin?!" Robin looked utterly confused, this kid was most likely lying. Unless maybe Robin was to old to continue being Robin and it got passed down to this kid.

"I cannot say, it may alter the future." Damian shook his head.

"Wait your last name is Grayson?" Artemis asked Robin. 

"..Maybe, oh god Batman's gonna kill me!"  Robin complained, looking down at the ground.

"I need a way to get back home. To my timeline." Damian spoke up again. "I didn't come here by free will."
