A/N: I'm lazy so have this lame excuse for a chapter, also have you noticed I just find a word and go 'THIS'LL WORK FOR THE CHAPTER NAME' lmao. ANYWAY,  people may be out of character but I'm pretty sure we've been over that I do that a lot. ANYWHO ONWARDS!

"Maybe he isn't so bad after all?" M'gann offered, wanting to squeal at the adorable sight.

Not ruining the kids mood seeing as Robin had fullout yelled him earlier, the team just slowly closed the door; smiles planted on their faces.

Robin had shut himself away in his room, curled up in the corner of his bed; hugging his pillow tightly. The whole situation had messed him up so much that he wanted to isolate himself.

He pretty much barely used his room, it was mainly just used to avoid everyone else when he was feeling a bit overwhelmed and needed some time to himself; hence what he was doing now.

Taking a deep breath in, he tried to register the situation. Wally Artemis and himself were all discussing Hogwarts houses for an unknown reason whilst Kaldur was reading a book. When all of a sudden a random swirling portal appeared out of thin air and shot out the boy who claimed to be 'the future robin'.

There! that was the place that had got him stuck at, the kid.

Why was the kid Robin?

What happened to me in the future?

Did I die?

Robin took in another deep breath in and slowly peeled off his mask, revealing Dick Grayson as he rubbed his watery eyes. Why did Bruce replace him like that? Was that kid better then him?

Tears began to silently stream down the young acrobat's maskless face.

Did Bruce even care?

He tightened his grip on the pillow, his own adoptive father not caring.. Why was Bruce like that, there had to be a reason behind it, Bruce wouldn't replace him right..? But what other explanations were there?

Speaking of the devil a small knock came from the door, causing Robin to let out a silent sob; why did he have to deal with this now? He had left everyone for a reason.

"Robin. Can I come in?" That gruff voice, obviously Batman.

But the thing was, Robin was completely unsure of whether he wanted to talk to Bruce or not, well right now he was disguised as Batman; not his father figure. But he'd have to face Batman sooner or later so why not just get it over and done with.

The bird hesitantly grabbed his mask and placed it over his face, mainly in hope to disguise his tears; it'd be fine, just remain calm; take a deep breath in.

It's okay.

Everything's going to go just fine.

Smoothly.

Without a doubt.

".. Yeah." Robin shifted anxiously, trying to not think of all possible outcomes in this situation.

Too late

Robin tried to crush down his panic but it was to much, he needed answers!

The door slid open making a 'whoosh' kind of sound as Batman slowly stepped inside, door closing behind him.

"Robin..." He started, but immediately got cut off.

"How could you do that.." Robin frowned, looking up at the caped vigilante.

"I trusted you and you replace me!? Robin is my identity you know what it means to me.." He sniffed, epically failing the action of 'keeping calm'.

Batman inwardly sighed, sitting down next to Robin.

"He is my son." Bruce tried to reason; of course epically failing in lifting the child's mood.

"So I'm not important to you?! What this so called 'son' of yours is now more important then me?! What's wrong with me Bruce.. Do I even matter to you? You know what I probably don't! You come to me dressed a bat! What are you a furry?! Leave me alone Bruce! You don't care about me, you probably never have. Why did you even adopt me?! You didnt even put any of my feelings into consideration! Stop pretending you care because; news flash Bruce! You don't." The bird spat, before letting out a sob; pressing his face into his hands, not daring to look at Bruce.

"Of course I care." Bruce frowned.

How could he let his bird feel this way? Of course mentioning that the future Robin was his son would impact this way.

"It certainly doesn't seem like it! Why is that kid Robin, I can't believe you'd do that." Robin cried, clutching his pillow closer to his chest.

"No, Dick listen. I would never do such a thing. Maybe there was an actual reason for the kid to be Robin.. Let's just calm down okay.?" Bruce pulled off his cowl and looked into Dick's eyes.

"Are you listening?"

The bird looked down, nodding slowly.

".. Sorry I didn't mean to make such assumptions."

"It's okay." Batman- or more likely Bruce reached over, hugging his adopted son protectively whilst rubbing the boy's back; allowing him to cry into his shoulder.

"Do I have to go out now?" Robin sniffed.

"No, it's okay chum. Stay here until you sort yourself out." Bruce smiled, stroking a hand through Dick's ebony hair.

Robin smiled into Bruce's shoulder, everything was going to be okay.
