A/N: I'm a lazy piece of trash and I have no motivation help me! Also I hope y'all ship DamiJon because I'm going to write a SoulMates au of it! But of course I'm trying to keep pairings minimal in this fanfiction, so DamiJon isn't happening in this fic. Also this chapter is basically just a filler I guess, so it might not be the best. It's still cute though! Anywho, ONWARDS!

M'gann joined in on the hug, trying to comfort the small child. "You'll find out where you belong I promise." She whispered.

A few tears slipped from underneath his mask as the two heroes hugged him.

"I don't... I don't belong anywhere.." He sobbed quietly slowly wrapping his arms around them, hugging them back.

It had been roughly about 2 hours since Damian's breakdown; and he refused to talk to anyone about it and just remained seated on the couch. M'gann had baked a brand new fresh batch cookies to try make him feel better.

Rejected.

Kaldur had tried to comfort him, suggesting they should just talk about it.

Rejected.

Heck even Superboy attempted to make the kid feel better. Of course, he had turned them all down; the team could sort of understand why. This kid just got ripped from him home and shoved back into the past, of course he wants some time alone.

But the thing that Damian didn't get was he was an assassin he had even admitted it to them, why were they not locking him up, why weren't they putting restraints on him, why weren't they interrogating him?

All these questions flew around Damian's head as he sat there, an emotionless mask planted over his face to prevent anyone from reading his feelings. Even though was practically nobody in the same room as him.

The team, well spare Robin and Superboy (Superboy was keeping an eye on Damian, they can't just leave this kid unattended) were all discussing what they were going to do with their new visitor from inside another room. This made Damian feel uneasy; they could be discussing anything. What if they decide to throw him in jail; sure, he's just a kid so they probably wouldn't but he sure as hell deserved it.. Maybe they won't return him back to the future after hearing the troubles he's caused?

Damian clenched his fists at the thoughts and with Doctor Fate off world there was no chances of him being sent back to his timeline currently; unless Zatanna was around somewhere.. So either way he's going to have to put up with the questions that were surely soon to arrive once the original team was done discussing about him.

But did he even want to return home..?

He felt so left out there. Everyone would all be hugging and laughing away, all relaxed but as soon as the ex-assassin would walk into the room, the fun-loving atmosphere would turn into a cold-dark atmosphere and everyone would just stand there all serious, glaring at him all tense. He really hated it why couldn't he just be normal? He took away their happiness maybe he shouldn't return for everyone else's sake. They'd probably prefer it that way anyway.

Damian sighed, closing his eyes. Maybe he shouldn't..

"Okay but what do we do with him?" Wally asked, behind soundproof walls so Damian couldn't possibly hear them speak.
