"You're Daphne?! The last silver wolf?!"

"Yes sweetheart." She shyly said.

"I-I can't believe it..." I mumbled.

"Everyone thought I was dead, am I right?"

I nodded.

"Look, I know the thing where red and silver wolves are enemies. But, do you think we can make an alliance?"

"Why do you want to do that?" I raised an eyebrow.

"I wasn't there when my ancestors killed your kind. But, I will be happy to kneel in front of your ancestors grave and ask for their forgiveness." She warmly said.

I felt tears welled up in my eyes.

Fire, a silver wolf wants forgiveness...

I know, I always thought they would hate us back.

You think I can trust her?

Yes! I feel a little of family in her.

Huh?

I don't know, I feel the sense of family.

If you say so...

"D-Daphne, i-I don't know what to say..."

"I have always read about the red wolves, I actually think what my ancestors did was wrong. They wanted power, instead of friendship. And I apologize on behalf in them." She aoised for a moment.

"They would probably be disgraced by me for doing this, but, this is the right thing to do." She said.

I don't know what came over me, but I hugged her tightly.

And she hugged me back!

Not even my brother does that.

"Thank you Daphne. Thank yu so much."

"No problem uh- "

"Marilyn."

"No problem Marilyn."

We hugged for a longer time.

"Come, let's go to their grave." She wiped a tear off.

I nodded and we headed to a deserted area.

Daphne could see their grave ahead.

She keeled down and said something I don't really understand.

"Mi scuso per il comportamento dei miei antenati perdonami. Posso avere il tuo perdono." ( I apologize for my ancestors behaviour forgive me. May I have your forgiveness. )

She stood up and hugged.

"Thank you for giving me the chance to do this Marilyn."

I just smiled.

"Dear, I have to go back now. But, would you like to stay with me? Seeing that you're alone..."

"Uh-"

"Please."

"O-okay. I suppose you live with your Family?"

She pulled away.

"Yes. And I suggest you mask your scent or something. My family is not so fond of rouges."

"Then why should I go in?"

"I want to keep the last red wolf safe. Make it as a forgiveness thing, to make sins for what my ancestors did to yours."

"Actually, I'm not last red wolf alive."
