One Year Later

   " Hazel!"

   Hazel saw flashing lights and jumped a bit from her daydream seeing everyone asking her questions. She was suppose to be meeting up with Evie and Mal, but the minute they saw her face, they ran to speak. She tried to dissociate for a bit only ending up with a daydream of doing wicked things. Now she was blinded by cameras. She blinked multiple times hoping it would stop and felt her nails dig into her palms nervous.

" Hazel, please."

   " Over here !"

" Hazel !"

   " Only three days to the Royal Cotillion." One lady asked making Hazel smile about to answer when someone else called out." Ever think a girl like you would be Lady of the Court ?"

Hazel shrugged," Well, to be honest-"

   " How does it feel to be the most envied girl in Auradon ?"

She quickly shook her head," Oh, I don't think I'm-"

   " Well, do you like being brunette ?"

   " Actually-" Hazel tried once again getting a bit annoyed and panicking.

   " Is your father still frozen ?" One reporter asked making Hazel a bit horrified at the memory.

   " Okay. All right. Excuse me." Hazel heard and turned to see Ben coming to save the day. Hazel took a deep breathe and smiled to him." Haz, are you okay ?"

   " Now that you're here." She answered making him smile. He turned back to the camera's trying his best to be professional.

   " Uh, we will let you know if and when that particular situation changes."

   " Did you ever think you'd be with a villain Kid ?" An interviewer asked making Hazel look to Ben thinking he was going to answer. Ben's face turned serious and he slightly glare to the man.

" We're done here."

   " Okay." Fairy Godmother said stepping into play and moving the news away from Ben and Hazel." Shush, shush. Shoosh, shoosh. Shoosh, shoosh. This is still a school, so if you're here, you're either skipping or trespassing."

" Just one quick question-"

   " Shush. Shush. Thank you, guys." Fairy Godmother said with a sweet smile while looking to the royal couple" Hazel. Ben."

   " Fairy Godmother." They both said at the same time seeing she turned on her heels and left. Hazel took a deep breath letting all the emotions she's been holding.

" Hey, seriously are you okay ?"

   " Not going to lie, that last question hurt a bit. A least I didn't get a panic attack this time, though I was so close. When they brought up Hades-"

" Don't pay any attention to them."

    " I know. I know. I just...I wanna be a perfect princess for you. I mean, you know, Auradon is going to need me some day, so here I am. Wearing pink I guess." She said looking down to her outfit.
