Well, I think that once winter was over, I am going to start towards California. I was just at the library to use their bathroom, so I stopped at the computers to check and see how long it would take to get to California. It is about 2000 miles, so it will take about 130 days. I still think that’s a lot, but if I leave the first of April, I will get there by...August. That’s not too bad. I’ll get there right as the heat is ending, so I won’t have too many heat problems like dehydration once I get there, but I guess I’ll still get those problems before getting there. Oh well, at least I’ll get there before winter. And the trip will take less than a year too! Well, unless I fall off track again, but I don’t plan on doing that again.

Come to think about it, maybe I should leave in the morning for California, I would get there by May, before the heat! On second thought, maybe I should leave after Christmas. There’s nothing for me to do here anyway, so there is no point in staying, plus if I stay too long, they might find me. So, I guess I’ll leave in a few weeks, after Christmas. I guess that’s reasonable. I guess I better rest up. If I can get enough rest I can maybe pull 20 miles in one day for a couple weeks, then I could be ahead schedule if I somehow get behind. But, as I said earlier, getting behind is not in my plans.
