Chapter Four: Is That Bad?

~(Y/N)'s POV~
I was at the DEO and watch Winn talk to Alex. Creepy. I groan and look around. I climbed up to the second floor and went inside a lab. I look on the computers and find they we're experimenting on Kryptonite. Better be careful. "What's wrong?" I hear Kara say behind me. I turn around "hm?" I said and she walks closer "your usually not this snoopy and quiet" Kara said and sat on one of the beds. I pout "nothings wrong. I'm just bored...." I groan and flop onto the floor, making the room shake a little. Kara giggles a little and pulls me up "well actually-" she was interrupted by J'onn "sorry to intrude but we have to speak to (Y/N), alone" J'onn said and Alex went beside him. I look at Kara "sorry Kara....but maybe we can hang out after this? If you aren't busy that is..." I said and Kara smiles, oh how I love that smile. "Of course" Kara said but she sounded a little bit hurt. I follow J'onn and Alex to the other side of the DEO and we went inside a locker room. "So, why did you need me?" I asked with crossed arms "we just need to run some tests on you. We saw some cuts and bruises show on your arm and we might think thoughs aren't normal cuts and bruises" J'onn said "not normal? What do you mean?" I ask "we think that those robbers 'Mystery Girl' defeated put something in those bullets and something on those knifes. Did you see red glowing stuff on the knifes? Or maybe you still have the bullets they had?" Alex said "well yea I have the bullets still and I did see red glowing stuff on the knifes too. Also, Mystery Girl?" I said with a smirk, trying not to laugh. "Everyone's calling you that" Winn suddenly appears behind me with a donut and a laptop. He showed me some little girls singing and dancing "Mystery Girl. Your a mystery, will you show us who you are?" They sang and did play fighting/dancing. They we're wearing red shirts with long sleeves, black tutus, black gloves, and a black question mark in the middle with a black heart around it. "Interesting song and costume. I guess I can roll for Mystery Girl for a while until I find a better name" I said. I turn my attention to Alex and J'onn "and yes, you can run tests on me" I said and they smile. I smile back and turn to Winn who was watching the little girls from the beginning "so, why are people making shows and acts about me? Heck, they even have a song!" I said and Winn looks at me questionly "I thought you wanted this?" Winn said while eating his donut "no! I mean, I appreciate it but I'm doing this to save people! Not to get autographs or be famous! It's too soon! I only stopped robbers from robbing banks and save inoccent people including Alex!" "Uhhh...well....wait- aren't you and Kara suppose to be at work?" I gasp "gah! I keep on forgetting! I have to tell Kara!" I quickly run to where I last saw Kara and see she was gone but it seems like she left a note because there was a letter on the left bed. I pick it up and read it. Dear (Y/N),
I was trying to tell you we we're late for work. So I guess I'll see you at work? If your not busy and all.

I sighed and quickly rush to CatCo. But of course I put clothes over my 'costume'. I land in an alleyway and went inside. I took the elevator and when I got there I saw Kara busy writing down something. I take a peek in Cat's office and sure enough she was there. I quickly sit at my desk and start working on an essay. The speakers soon came on "Kera and (Y/N) go to my office. Now" Cat said and I groan. Me and Kara went inside the office and see Cat looking at us with a disappointed face. "I expected you both not to be late but I'll yell at you later. For right now I have to talk to you both" Cat said and folded her hands together "as you know we have a new superhero in town" Cat said and pulled up a picture of me in my superhero form. "Yea?" I said "you didn't let me finish. We have to right an article about her. How mysterious she is, how secret she is. People say to call her Severity but I don't like it. But I love this name, Mystery Girl. It suits her so well! Not Severity, blah. So I want Kara ti right an article about Mystery Girl and (Y/N) to take photos since James is too busy with other pictures" Cat said and I nod "ok!" I said "of course Ms. Grant" Kara said "now go" Cat said and we start walking out until Cat stopped me. "(Y/N), I need to ask you something" Cat said and I walk back to her "can you possibly bring Mystery Girl for a meeting? Let's say maybe at the park. Ya know like a hang out" "um, sure! The one that's across the street?" I said and Cat nods. "Ok I'll try my best" I said before off to my desk. While I was working I was thinking. Should I go? I mean it's just a interview. What harm could happen? I mean, I might get shy and chicken out. Cat is just so scary when she gets frustrated or mad. Heck, sometimes annoying. With her little attitude and stuff. I mean really!
