I sigh as I walk over to my desk. Today, I went to CatCo grumpy and sad. Barely keeping my eyes under control, but luckily I can calm down just enough to wear I can hide my eyes. I sit down. I start typing on my computer. Suddenly, a large stack of paper was set on my desk. I look to the side to see it was Ms. Grant that who set them down. I look at her. confused. "I want you to write about Supergirl" Cat said. "But, shouldn't Kara do it? She knows a lot more than me" I said as I look at with pleading eyes. I really wasn't in the mood to write. Cat rolls her eyes. "Yea right. Stop being so lazy and start working. Don't put pressure on your Girlfriend" Cat said before walking off. I shake my head and watch as Cat walks into her office, surprised. I groan and slam my head onto my desk. She's right, I shouldn't put pressure on Kara. I rest my chin on my desk as I look the stack of papers up and down. I sigh and sat up. Might as well start.
~Time Skip~
I was half way through the stack when I felt hands start to message my shoulders. My head shot up from my papers. I look behind me to see Kara. She smiles at me. "You looked tense. So, I thought maybe a message would help?" Kara said while she keeps on messaging my shoulders. I smile at her. "Thank you, babe" I said before grabbing her hand and kissing it. Kara giggles a little.
~Time Skip~
Finally, work was done. Me and Kara walks out of CatCo. "Hey, Kara?" I said, grabbing her hand. Kara looks at me. "Maybe we can go on a date? Like maybe a movie or something?" I said. Kara smiles. "I would love that" Kara said before pecking my lips. I smile. "But sadly, I can't do it tonight. Maybe we can do it tomorrow?" Kara said. I nod. "That would he perfect. I'll pick you up at 7?" I said and Kara nods. "Sounds good" Kara said. Her phone then rings. Kara takes it out of her purse and looks at the number. "Oh! I-I'm sorry (Y/N), but I have to take this" Kara said before answering it and starts walking off. I stood there, heartbroken. She didn t say goodbye or anything. I sigh and shake my head. No, she doesn't have to say goodbye every single time we part ways I thought before I start walking off towards my apartment.
~Time Skip (again, I'm sorry T^T)~
I unlock my apartment door before walking inside, slamming the door behind me. I suddenly start crying. I grab onto my kitchen table and close my eyes shut, letting the tears fall. I open them again. I look up at the window. There, I saw myself. But my eyes have changed. I look away, ashamed. I walk over to my balcony. I look up at the sky. Kara zooms by. I could hear sirens off in the distance. I sigh, letting the wind blow my hair. "Stay calm, don't let them see your monstrous eyes" I said to myself. I look down at the city down below. I then remember Serphina. The way she looked at me. It was pure rage and sorrow. I remember the changes that happened over the years. They've all been sad ones, other than me and Kara getting together, of course. (Start Song).

I look down at the busy street as a tear roll down my face. "Your singing is beautiful" I hear Kara said
I jump and spin around, my eyes changing. Kara was standing on my balcony with a smile. I blush and rub my head while looking off to the side. I feel a hand grab my free hand. "Babe, what's wrong?" Kara said with worry eyes, the smile gone. "It's nothing, Kara" I said with a smile. Kara doesn't by it. She place her other hand on my cheek. Kara then kisses me. I kiss back. "Please, tell me" Kara said when she pulled away. I shake my head before walking past her. I stop and look over my shoulder. "I'm ok, Kara. Just go save the world" I said with a sad smile before walking off. I can Kara sigh before she flies off. I sit on my couch and close my eyes. Her kindness didn't change, at least.
