~Friendship isn't about whom you've known the longest it's about who came and never left your side

This might sound alittle bit cliche' but i'm outside my backyard, looking at the moon and it's sprinkled friends.
One of the reasons why i'm outside looking at the charcoal sky is because 1. I'm not really normal (all jokes aside) and 2. The moon is what keeps me sane.
Don't get me wrong I don't have a mental illness or anything again all jokes aside but lets just say i'm not in a stable condition, it's just something I don't like to talk about because sometimes I worry that people won't accept me because I'm in this condition.
I know what your thinking and my answer to that is, no I don't have cancer.
What I have is something called 'Diabetes' and i'm guessing you know what that is because it's very common in america.
I have type 1 diabetes which is common for my age - 16 but before you get confused with all the medical talk i'll explain what exactly type 1 diabetes is and I promise i'll keep the explanation short for your own sake.
Type 1 diabetes is a condition characterized by high blood glucose levels caused by a total lack of insulin, this occurs when the body's immune system attacks the insulin producing beta cells in the pancreas and destroy's them. The pancreas then produces little or no insulin. And type 1 diabetes developes more often in young people but can appear in adults.
Which is why I said that type 1 is common for my age.
And please PLEASE don't tell me your one of the people that believe all people with diabetes are obesed or 'fat' , because that is just a myth it's either that or it was a misconception
I look like a normal proportioned human.
I have big blue eyes light brown hair pale skin, It's kinda hard to tell i have diabetes but for me, it's the inevitable.
My thought are interupted when I hear a creak towards my left I turn my head towards the noise I was about to scream out of fear but then I see a familiar wave greeting me and a small smile reaches my lips, Caspar my best friend had came just like he promised.
I lift my arm up and wave back at him reapeting the gesture.
You see this is our thing we wave to eachother to say hi but we don't actually say the word because we think it's silly. Your probably like 'why is it silly?' well i'll tell you why.
We believe that it's stupid to say hi when obviously there's a goodbye at the end, like why say hi if your going to say goodbye after?
So we also wave eachother hello when we leave. you see you know the ordinary and boring 'Hello....Goodbye' to us it's 'Hi...hello'.
Okay I think you get the concept so i'll stop my yapping.
Capser gives me a toothy grin before sitting down next to me
"So, how was school?" Casper asks his head turning to face me
"umm it was the uhh the oposite of fabulous" I say looking down playing with the hem of my t-shirt
"You know I don't understand who wouldn't want to be friends with you, I swear society is so blind these days" he mutters under his breath.
A smile starts to grow onto my face the second he says that, Caspar alway's knows how to make me smile.
"Thank you Cassy" I tease poking his shoulder, he shoves me playfully
"Don't call me that!" he whines wiping fake tears from his eyes, I chuckle then look up at the sky my eyes widden when I see something flash across the sky I gasp most people would say they saw a shooting star but this is a comet.
