I turned away to hide-
The tears staining my face
The dyes of desolation,
The hues of heartbreak
The way our fate was painted,
Was too much for me to take
I couldn't bear to leave,
After all we'd been through
From dawn to dusk,
I'd always been by you
The anguish, the fury,
The glimmers of pain
The challenge of pulling free-
I couldn't explain
The fabric of our friendship,
Then stained with drops of hate
For then you were to leave me,
