The local bar, adorned with soft and almost Christmas-like lights, left it's doors wide open for many to flow in and out comfortably in a welcoming manner.
Gentle jazz music had warmed the cozy atmosphere as many settled into their seats with their large groups of friends to chat the evening away on topics such as politics and life as they sipped a couple beers.
Yoongi's head crashes onto the table in boredom as his friends continued rambling on and on about each other's lives after a long year of pursuing their own paths as university students and adults.
His lips twist into a petite smile as he fiddles with his cold drink glued to his palm, tracing meaningless designs on the back with one finger.
If it was up to the poor lad he would've opted to stay home and rest instead of heading out once again with these goons he had befriended much to his reluctance.
His lungs grew heavy as oxygen filled them before soaring from his lips with an audible huff.
He really didn't want to be here.
In fact he felt such a strong desire to leave, he was even willing to seem like an asshole to return back to the comfort of his hotel room in all honesty.
Yoongi was never much of a social butterfly and instead preferred to keep to himself much to the annoyance of most of the people in his social circle who were extroverts. It's as if the moment Yoongi would even prop his door open, people would swarm him with questions and practically jump in joy if he replied.
He chuckled.
What were they, his fangirls?
"Oh! It's Hobi's turn soon! I'm excited." Jin smiled leaning forward in his seat with great anticipation.
"Me too." Jungkook squeaked, voice mumbled.
Jimin chuckles, stroking the young brunette's hair, "Jeez you're so shy." Jungkook nodded sheepishly, head resting on the orange-haired man's shoulder as he observed the front stage eagerly.
"Today is his first performance. I'm sure he's a nervous wreck." Taehyung reasoned as he sipped his sweet brandy from a cute pink straw.
The man with rounded glasses cocks an eyebrow in skepticism, glancing from the book cushioned in his palms. "He's Hoseok. He'll be fine." He brushed off, eyes continuing to devour the words written on each page.
"I think Namjoon's right. Hobi isn't one to freak out over something like this." Jimin agreed with Namjoon making Taehyung's lips curl downwards.
"And there you go again, agreeing with the lawyer as always." Taehyung grumbled, words carrying more bitterness than Jin's liquor. He leans back into his seat in defeat, lip rounding into a pout as he sulked.
Namjoon's expression contorted into that of a somewhat offended one. "Seriously, what on earth does dragging my career into this have to do with anything?" He directed towards Taehyung, eyes narrowing until he was practically glaring at the younger.
Taehyung snorted, "As if that's important. I'll be making more than you in no time once I get a contract with Gucci." He flashed his rectangular smile with a certain smugness.
Namjoon grinned, settling back into his seat. "And last time I checked Gucci rejects up to 90% of applicants. Especially those with no sense of fashion."
Taehyung gasped, hand over his mouth as he clung onto Jungkook who's eyes were wide in confusion. "Oh you did not just say that!" He fumed.
"So what are you going to do if I did?" The older provoked.
