Narrator's P.O.V
Lapis and Peridot had built up the strength and energy to reform, carefully planning out how they would look and where they would place their stars. Sooner or later they had both reformed and ventured into the barn for no real purpose. They both awkwardly twiddled their thumbs, standing around and trying to force words out their throats that refused to come out. Finally, conversation sparked, yet it was still awkward.

"So, weddings, huh?" Peridot tried desperatley to break the tension.
"Yeah." Lapis replied in a salty yet settled voice.
"So,—" Peridot started but was instantly cut off to Lapis's stern and concerned voice.
"I'm sorry. I am so.. sorry...." tears welled in Lapis's eyes. She tried SO hard to hold her sadness down in the back of her throat but she couldn't. She blinked softly just once but her tears broke out and streamed individually down her cheeks. She gritted her teeth and sniffled loudly. She began to whimper.
"I was so.... *sniffle* HORRIBLE to you..." Lapis couldn't stand it anymore. She wasn't just whimpering now. She was completely voicing her sadness and hunching over to cry. Peridot was in utter shock at how hard she was crying and tried to comfort her.
"Hey! It's not your fault! I'm not blaming you for your actions! I understand! Even though you didn't do the completely right thing, you came back and...." Peridot was at a loss for words.
"and what....?" Lapis questioned.
                                                            "And Cared."
