Today is your birthday. You woke up extra early to begin your day. You had plans for your friends, family, and of course, later in the night, your boyfriend. First you're going with your friends.
*A couple hours later*
Friend 1: "Y/NNNN!! GIRL HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!"
Friend 2: "Happy birthday girl, where's the food?"
You: "girl over there. Have fun, amd thank You!"
Friend 3&4: "HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIRL!! WE LOVE YOU!!"
You: "ha, thank you"
All of your friends go to the table and start ordering their food. You were really upset because ever since you've been up, your boyfriend Jungkook hasn't called or texted you all day. You would expect him to be up by now, it's about 12:00pm. He never sleeps this late.
You didn't want to ruin your time with your friends, so you gave him the benefit of the doubt and just assumed he was sleeping. You knew he wouldn't forget about your birthday. You were fidgeting with your fingers at the entrance listening to all your friends talk and laugh.
Friend 1: "GIRL COME OVER HERE AND EAT!!"
She yelled from across the room. You went to the table, and you are your food. Jungkook was lingering at the back of your mind.
*End of party*
Friend 1: "Hey, you seem like you have something on your mind. You've been looking unsettled this whole time. Is everything okay?"
You were shocked by her noticing your attitude. So you decided to tell her.
You: "well if you'd really like to know, Jungkook hasn't texted me all day, and I seen that he's been active on social media with his boys all day. I feel like he forgot about my birthday."
Friend 1: "Seriously? It's your birthday and he hasn't talked to you all day? I think you need to talk to him"
You: "thanks, but I can't. I have a house party with my family after this. Then if he doesn't text or call by then, then I'll call him."
Friend 1: "Okay whatever you want to do"
She smiled and left out.
*End of family house party*
Jungkook still hast texted or called you all day. You're starting to think that he genuinely forgot. It's now the end of your family house party, and everyone is leaving your house. You couldn't genuinely be happy all because of Jungkook. He let you down.
Everybody has left your house. You're supposed to be heading to Jungkook's house after this, but you're thinking about staying home. You're at the edge of your stairs when you feel tears coming out of your eyes. You started sobbing up the stairs.
You made it to your room and later on your bed in the dark and sobbed. About 45 minutes later, your phone buzzes.
Jungkook💍: "Hey babe."
You instantly got mad. You wanted to throw everything around you and scream. He's acting like everything was okay, and you clearly weren't okay. You called him.
*calling Jungkook*
Jungkook: hello?
You: wow. You're acting like everything is okay? You haven't texted or called me all day. Do you know what today is? Did you even remember? Today's my birthday Jungkook. I was supposed to see you tonight but I'm thinking about staying home since you don't want to call anyone.
