EVERYDAY STANLEY URIS WISHES HE COULD REMEMBER THE FIRST DAY HE SAW CHRISTOPHER RYANS. Perhaps he would know if he knew that, that would be the same boy he would love eternally. But unfortunately, he does not, but what he does remember is the moment he fell in love with Christopher. It was a simple, yet, joyous moment. The two were sitting in class, Christopher sat in front of him. The two had been secretly dating, so Stan was stuck staring at the back of his head. He had no clue that Christopher could hear his slight mutters if he did know he would've stayed silent.

Because one day Stan's pencil had broken in half. He had cussed under his breath and tried looking in his backpack for a new one. What made him stop looking? Christopher. He had turned around with a cheeky smile on his face - that he usually wore at school anyways - with an extra wooden pencil in his hand. The boy had only asked Stanley if he needed a pencil, but yet his heart raced a mile a minute. And for some reason, that moment, he fell in love. The rest is history.

The two have shared a love story that no other could compare. Today we get a glimpse of what is included in their story. The two boys currently sit in a grass field where no one else seemed to go. Stanley's head rests upon Christopher's lap, while Christopher intwines his fingers into his boyfriend's soft curls with his right hand, while his left hand is keeping him propped up. Meanwhile, as Stan laid, his face is a soft red while his fingers mess with the end of his shirt, his eyes slightly squint due to the sun. Both of their hearts beat a mile a minute all while smiles lay upon their lips.

"I thought you had plans to hang out with your friends today?" Christopher asked softly, his voice came out low and shaky. Despite how long the two have known each other, or have even liked each other, Christopher and Stan still couldn't help to be nervous around each other.

"They canceled." Stanley began, trying to look at Christopher's eyes, but the sun blocked his way. "Something about Bill having to babysit Georgie." In all honesty, Stanley didn't quite know why Bill had to watch Georgie this afternoon. The second he found out he could hang out with Christopher instead, that is all that consumed his mind.

The two the engulfed in a wonderful and comforting silence. It's never an awkward or dull moment with them. Even just laying there, with the sun shining on their skin, and not saying a word. That's the kind of love that should matter. Because it's hard to find those special people who you can just be around but never bored. Or you haven't seen them in months, then you see them again and it's like a day has not even passed since they last saw one another. Which is how it is with the two boys.

Stanley now looked away from Christopher, and his head now turned to the side a grabbed some grass from the ground. Christopher watched him, as his hand now left Stanley's hair and propped himself up with both of his hands now. 'How did I ever get so lucky?' Is all that ran through his mind about the boy laying in his lap. Of course, other things did as well, like wanting to kiss Stanley, or showing his boyfriend off to the world. But right now, looking at him, that thought seemed to overpower all the others. Christopher knows he doesn't deserve the Stanley. Stanley deserves the world and more, and unfortunately, that is something Christopher will never able to give him. But for what he could give him, is a simple compliment. "You're so handsome."

Stanley looked back up, "Chris..." He trailed off, clearly embarrassed and flustered. Christopher smiled back, but his smile was more confident. He likes that he can make Stanley nervous, it clarifies that Stanley loves him too. As for Stan? He's not much a flirt as Christopher, "stop being such a flirt," and always makes sure to tell him.

"What?! A guy can't flirt with his boyfriend?" Christopher retorted back, looking at Stan. Though his eyes were squinting from the sun, Christopher still found his eyes just as beautiful, even when you can't see them all that much. But he didn't like that Stanley was potentially hurting eyes just to look at him. Thus, Christopher took his hand and put it above Stanley's eyes to block the sun.

This gave Stanley a better view of the boy he's very much in love with. "In this society?" Stanley began with a scoff, "not exactly." He watched Christophers face change into one he's never really seen from him. Stanley couldn't tell but thinking of how he's not accepted, always broke Christopher's heart.

But he'd always come back with something loving and romantic to say. "One day, even if it 's when we're old and grey, having a picnic in this same field, telling our grandchildren the story of us, I promise I'll be able to flirt with you wherever I want. Because I promise that one day I will fight so hard for gay rights so in the future boys that will be our age, will not have to hide their true love from the world." At the time, his words seemed perfectly said, and perfectly planned. But to quite honest, nothing in this world is perfectly said, perfectly planned, or perfect in general. This story is not like any other, you will be seeing people's lives tumble, which is never a happy story.
