CHRISTOPHER AND HIS MOTHER HAVE BEEN LIVING ALONE IN A SMALL APARTMENT ALONE FOR ALMOST TWO MONTHS NOW. And quite honestly, it's far better than when they were with his father. It's a lot less of yelling filling the space, but a lot more laughter instead. Christopher was even able to introduce Stanley to his mom, and of course, the two quickly were overjoyed to meet. Sometimes Christopher worries they like each other more than they like him. This benefit's the two lovesick boys because now they're able to hang out so much more than before.
Thus, the two sat in the kitchen of the small three-bedroom apartment, doing homework they were assigned. But if they were being honest, their homework was barely done while the two of them conversed in a conversation whilst holding hands. And at that moment the both of them felt so content with life, fear didn't consume either of there minds. Mainly because together Stanley and Christopher are fearless and far too powerful.
As Stanley says, "your smile certainly has a special place in my heart, Chris." His eyes settled upon Christopher's lips and his very own held a smile from ear to ear. Especially when seeing Christopher's cheeks burn to a red. Despite being together already somehow the flirting still gets to both of them. It makes them nervous and embarrassed.
Even just thinking about being in the same room causes their stomach to twist into this nervous feeling, all while feeling their heart thump out of their chests, hoping no one notices how giddy they are. All this, even when not saying a single word to each other. But it didn't and doesn't matter. Because all the stares of the corners of the eyes, all of the unplanned eye contact, all of it, causes their hearts to beat like no other. The love Christopher and Stanley have is so real and so pure, that even with sitting next to each other their hearts can't control themselves. And they simply beg that the other will never find another.
Luckily for them, they won't find another. But someone - or something - who wants fear knows he will be beaten by people, people like Christopher and Stanley, who are too powerful. So as IT peers through a window, IT knows what it has to do. Whatever the thing is, is hungry; and IT wants IT's first meal.
