So let's continue where we left off...

In the next parts of this theory is where the evidences will be.

Evidence #1

Debunking Abuse
Disciplinary/Strict vs Abusive

There has always been a grey area and confusion between strict/disciplinary and abusive parents. Positive disciplinary acts allow children to develop and reinforce behavior, yet with child abuse can occur if the discipline or the controlling of a child becomes excessive and/or the child is injured.

Child abuse is usually unpredictable and the child who is abused, struggle to know for sure what will cause their parent to react abusively. Strict parents do get angered when they are disciplining their child, but with abusive parents lash out when they are angry and use physical abuse to demonstrate power over their child. There are four main types of abuse:

Physical , Sexual , Neglect & Emotional Abuse.

With the case of Dadsuki, we will be looking at each type of abuse and show how he is not an abusive father in any way in Act 1.

Physical Abuse
In regards to physical abuse, usually the child is shown with burns, bruises, markings and etc. . There are images of Natsuki with no sign of bruises. I will acknowledge that we are unable to see her waist or upper thighs, so there may be the possibility but it is slim.

Additionally, victims of physical abuse tend to wear clothing that doesn't match the weather, stays away from friends and hobbies, and avoid any type of physical contact. These are all points that are not seen in Natsuki's behavior.

Sexual Abuse
There is no factual evidence or evidence from any scene in DDLC that there is any sexual abuse. All is merely a speculation with no coherent proof.

Neglect
There is no sign of neglect due to her not missing a lot of school, and having the necessary needs such as meals, clean clothers, etc...

Emotional Abuse
Natsuki does not seem to be emotionally abused due to her not having speech problems, depressions, and she does have interest in her friends, and activities. I will acknowledge that Natsuki is not close to her father and that she has self-esteem issues.

Poetry
In Act 1, a poem called "I'll be your Beach" demonstrates behavioral characteristics that do not link to characteristics of children who are abused. Within this poem, it discusses Natsuki's love for the MC, and how she would like to take all of his worries.

It doesn't make sense that she wants to get rid of all MC's worries, since people who are abused cling on to people who can help them. People who are abused look for lovers who they perceive in their mind that they will abuse them and develop trust issues. Yet, Natsuki's poems do not show this behavior.

Until Act 2, where her poems that demostrate extreme signs that she is being abused by her father are revealed.

In summary, Natsuki does not demonstrate any physical or mentap signs of living in an abusive household, and that Dadsuki is not being an abusive father in Act 1.

That concludes the first evidence. There are three evidences so yeah!

In the meantime....

I'll see you in the flipside!
