Meeting (Chapter 1)

Surprise

  Arcee got her away.

  This was playing out perfectly.

  We waited for the sound of the door closing.

  "She's gone. Hurry!" I say, and we all scramble around, hanging up everything, getting the finishing touches done on her present.

  She didn't realize it was mothers day.

  We got June roped into it, too.  But she would be here later.

  Miko was busy helping Anti make the crown he was making for Moon.

   Optimus was holding her present still while Ratchet finished it.

  Bee, Smokescreen and Bulk were hanging up the decorations, making them stand on each other's shoulders.

  I did everything I had to already.

  I felt the box in my pocket, waiting.

  The proximity sensor sounded.

  Everyone froze, then watched the screen.

  She can't be here yet.  Its too early!!!

  Bulkhead almost dropped Bee and Smokescreen off his shoulders.

  Ratchet grumbled. "It's just Fowler." He then went back to work.

  Everyone kept doing what they were doing, but a little faster.

  Anti got a little frustrated with the crown, his Gliders shaking in frustration.

  He bit down on hip bottom lip, continuing to twist and twist with all his might.

  Miko kept handing him the materials he needed, which she had hid under the recliner.

  Her other present was in the sparring room, waiting for her.

  I got it tailored based on her Renew dress.  I hoped she liked it.

An hour had passed.

  We almost had everything done.

  The sensor sounded.

  Ratchet was almost finished.

"She's here!  Scatter!" Smokescreen said, jumping from Bee's shoulders, and Bee jumped from Bulkhead's.

  Ratchet handed me her present, then went back to the main console, acting normal.

  I ran with her present in my arms, putting it next to her other one.

  I bolt back to the couch area, sitting next to Anti.

  I can see he did a pretty professional job on the crown.

  She will love it.

  Optimus transformed, going to get June from work.

  The other bots hid throughout the base.
