Half Moon
I wake up with my head pounding. The loud rumbling in the floor doesnt help it.
I try and rub my head, but both my arms are wrapped in large chains.
My feet are hanging quite a distance from the floor, about 20-30 feet.
My wings are pinned together with something. I can't turn my head that far around to see.
I look around the room, and chains are hanging everywhere. Some really short, and some touching the floor.
The only other thing that I see is a large sliding door made of metal. But it is about the size of a hangar door.
I struggle, then I hear footsteps.
Loud, thumping metal ones.
I let my head drop, pretending that I'm still asleep.
I hear the metal door scrape open, and it takes a lot to not make any hint that I'm alert.
The footsteps stop right in front of me.
"Wakey-wakey." A voice says, but it sounds hoarse and commanding.
I remain perfectly still.
They gently brush thier fingers on the bridge of my wing. That is a big no-no. It's like a complete stranger smelling your hair. Its just not right.
I kick in the direction of thier face.
I hear them chuckle.
"Fiesty little thing, aren't you?" They say, getting up in my face.
I open my eyes, just his face was about as tall as I was.
Thier face was made of grey metal with glowing red eyes. Thier hands have long fingers, which turn into claws.
Anyone. Please. Help.
I start panicking. I cant fight this guy. Not without help.
I don't have my daggers, and I am too weak to use my powers.
Anyone. Please.
He paces around me, his claws folded neatly behind his back.
I don't like the way he is looking at me.
I try kicking him again, but he grabs my wing and tugs it down.
I scream, feeling my bones crack. My wing goes limp. I feel pain shooting through my spine and into my already sore arms.
"Don't try anything smart against me." He paces around calmly, as if that never happened.
Anyone. Please. I'm begging you.
He stops, and removes my hair from one side of my neck.
He smirks.
"Where is the autobot base?" He asks, his red eyes narrowed.
"What?" I ask, baffled.
"Where is it?!?!" He says, this time his voice dangerous.
"I don't know!"
He smiles.
He picks up a tazor of somesort and lights it with a flick of a switch.
He places it near my stomach, and I coil back.
"I will ask you one more time. Where is it?" His voice is calm now, but I am terrified of him.
"I don't know!" I cry, hoping anyone would hear me.
He jabs the tazor into my stomach, sending a painful numbness throughout my body.
I scream, feeling the electricity going through every nerve, every blood vessel.
Please. Help me. Anyone. Please.
I kick at him again, but he just shocks me more.
"One last time or I will tear off your wings myself. Where is the base?!?!"
I feel my heart racing. My body going numb. My head is feeling heavier by the second.
I lift my head, and I say I don't know.
He screams, and cuts the chains with his claws in a fit of rage, which allows me to get away.
I untangle my arms as quick as I can, but I get grabbed by the waist.
He squeezes me, and I feel my bones being crushed.
I scream, but he just smiles like he's amused.
"Just tell me where it is. And Ill let you go." He says, but I still don't trust him.
Im hurt. Anyone, please! Please. Anyone.
"Don't think anyone's going to come for you... Because they're not goi-" He gets cut off by what sounds like shooting.
He shrugs, but a tinge of fear is in his eyes.
He drops me, and I land flat on my face. I feel my nose bleed, and both my wings are sprawled out.
He stomps on the non-broken one, and as hard as he can.
I am too weak to think. Too weak to speak. Too weak to move.
I hear more shooting and loud footsteps. The door opens a second time, and I feel the metal person's foot come off my wing.
I hear a metalic pang, like a metalic fist punching more metal.
I feel my body lift off the cold metal floor, but what's underneath me is also metal.
I turn my head, and I'm being carried by a much more friendly face. Glowing blue eyes, yellow and black striped body.
They are carrying me ever so gently. I feel whatever was on my wings fall off, allowing the blood to flow through my feathers.
I see black in the corners of my vision, and soon, I'm not strong enough to keep my eyes open. I fall asleep from exhaustion.
