Jimin and Yoongi were both stood back in Yoongi's room as Yoongi thought about how the younger could be surprised by how he looked without seeing straight away.
He wanted to build it up so Jimin felt confident in how he looked which he obviously didn't.
"How could I take you to a mirror without you looking at yourself or peaking?" Yoongi asked looking at Jimin with a cute pout.
"Blind fold me?" Jimin said tilting his head at Yoongi who froze on the spot.
"I don't have a blind fold." He said quietly trying to not let his face go bright red because he knew what Jimin said was a answer to his question not a request for him to be blindfolded for other reasons - wink wonk.
"You could use a tie or you could just let me see." Jimin said chuckling a little because Yoongi's attempt to not go red had failed.
Yoongi licked his lips in deep thought before turning back to the closet, emerging with a plain silk black tie.
"Sit down Jimin-ah." Yoongi said with the tie in his hand holding it out so that it could easily be put on.
Jimin did as he was told and sat so Yoongi carefully placed the blindfold.
Yoongi then gently held onto both of Jimin's hands puling him up before taking him to the bathroom which had the full body mirror which Jimin would be able to see himself in.
"You ready?" Yoongi asked in a quiet voice to which Jimin hummed in response.
"Just remember that you look great either way but if you were to go anywhere fancy this is definitely a look." Yoongi said chuckling.
He then undid the tie and let it fall to the floor so that he could watch Jimin's reaction in the mirror.
The moment he opened his eyes his jaw dropped, he didn't expect that he would look so good.
"I told you that you looked hot." Yoongi said with a smug grin fighting all of his temptation to wrap his arms around Jimin's waist and rest his head on his shoulder again like before in the Gucci shop.
"This isn't me." Jimin said laughing in shock checking himself out.
"It is, you just don't see your self look like this because from what I've seen you only wear baggy clothes, like your suit was loose yesterday and today you wore a giant hoodie." Yoongi said smiling at the youngers cute shocked face.
"Because nothing ever fits properly." Jimin said before a look of realisation came to his face.
He quickly turned around so he could see himself from the side in the mirror, lifting the jacket to see that the pants fit his arse perfectly.
Jimin stared at himself saying "Wait, the pants fit. They actually fit." To himself in surprise.
"Yep." Was all that Yoongi could say to mesmerized by the boy, then moving to next to the mirror so that he could see Jimin's face better since his eyes remained plastered on the mirror.
"Wait don't this pants make my butt look big?" Jimin asked with a frown looking at Yoongi for a honest response.
Yoongi let out a chuckle to which Jimin complained "I'm being serious hyung."
"Yes Jimin-ah." Yoongi said trying to not laugh at the youngers question.
"They do make your butt look big, but that isn't a bad thing." He said looking at the younger in the eyes who then began to blush at his own question.
"I look weird hyung." Jimin said a frown slowly appearing on his face teh more he looked at himself.
"How so?" Yoongi said back with a confused expression on his face.
"I don't look... normal?" Jimin said confused at his own choice of words which once again earned a chuckle from Yoongi.
"That's because your not normal, your Park Jimin." Yoongi said looking at Jimin in the eyes with a warm smile.
"I'm serious hyung." Jimin said with his frown further developing.
Yoongi hesitantly moved back to behind Jimin and placed his hands on Jimin's shoulders making him look at himself in the mirror as he spoke.
"And i'm being serious too, your not normal Park Jimin. A normal person would accept that they looked absolutely stunning looking like you do right now. The only thing that could make you look more perfect would be that beautiful eye smile that you do when your really happy. Yo are handsome Park Jimin and extremely attractive; both personality and looks. So you better understand that you are piratically irresistible to everyone and if anyone else so how you looked right now i'm ten thousand percent sure that they'd be hitting on you, both me and women. Your perfect Jimin-ah." Yoongi said starting off in a joking way before slowly transitioning into a more serious voice.
Before Jimin even knew it he had tears forming in his eyes from the nice words that Yoongi had said to him, nobody had ever complimented him like that they normally just tried to tear him down which they did to a certain extent which is why he couldn't accept how great that he looked.
"I-i'm sorry Jimin I didn't mean to upset you or make you feel uncomfortable." Yoongi said quickly moving his hands off of Jimin's shoulders with a sound of extreme guilt in his voice.
Jimin's heart broke when Yoongi though he'd upset him.
He turned around to face Yoongi hugging him instantly which made Yoongi freeze momentarily before he returned the hug.
"D-don't be sorry stupid, you just said the nicest thing I've ever heard and your apologizing. Even if it's lie thank you for being so nice hyung." Jimin said squeezing Yoongi tighter at the last bit of what he said.
"Now who's the stupid one, I couldn't lie like that." Yoongi said trying not to cry himself.
He didn't know why he wanted to cry, it wasn't the usual wanting to cry at human contact because he never felt that around Jimin - it was more of a pained cry of knowing the younger would never truly love himself because of the doubt others placed in him.
'If only i'd have helped sooner and gotten rid of those awful bullies when I first noticed' was all that Yoongi could think as he broke his own heart.
