Rose ate happily with the young boy and Draven and Klaus. They all ate their dinner quietly when Draven piped up.

"How was school Rose?"

Rose covered her mouth and swallowed, then spoke. "It was alright. Kids are weird though."

"Kids are really weird. It's a good thing I never was one." Draven smirked. Klaus rolled his eyes playfully as he finished eating.

A knock came at the door. Draven got up and went to answer it. Al Capone took his hat off. "I need Rose."

Draven glared at him. "... Rose, do you have everything ready?"

Rose nodded and shoveled the rest of her food in her cheeks. She ran to the bedroom, grabbed her things, and ran out to the mob boss. Al smirked and took her in his arm. "C'mon little one." He took her in his car and drove off.

Draven closed the door. He paced back and forth, trying to let steam off of him before he went back to Klaus. He took a few deep breaths and sighed. He went to the table and got his plate, taking it to the sink. Klaus got up and gave the kid some of his clothes that were too small for him. The kid thanked him and left off to wherever he lived.

Klaus wrapped his arms around Draven's waist, kissing his shoulder softly. "Mí amor~"

Draven smiled and shuddered softly as Klaus' hands wandered around his body. He bit his lip. "Baby boy~"

"Shh~ " Klaus turned Draven around and kissed his neck, going lower and lower.

Al smiled as he drove off to West Egg.

"Now Rose, darling. We aren't gonna go to your dad's today. Since your birthday is coming up and I won't be able to see you for a while, I wanted to throw a little party together for ya."

Rose looked up. "Really!? Thank you so much!!"

Al pulled up to an old warehouse out in the middle of nowhere. He took Rose in, and closed the doors.

"Ah. How nice to see my little niece." A soft, raspy voice rang out. Rose clung onto Al's jacket. "Please child, come here... Do you not remember your good old Godfather?"

Rose looked up to see the man. She teared up. "I-I wanna go home... I don't l-like this...." Rose broke free from Al's grip and ran outside. Al ran after her.

"ROSE!!"

Rose kept running and running until she reached a field of tall, swaying grass. She sobbed softly and sat down, her feet tired and hurting. She wanted to just lay down and sob. But she knew that if she stayed, they'd find her. She got up and looked around, until she finally saw the waves of the ocean.

"Sand..." She walked down to the seashore and looked to her left and right. ".... dad is near the shore....." She went to the right and started to walk.

She hummed softly to calm her nerves. It would be dark soon, and who knew what that could mean for her. She stopped and looked out to the sun, admiring the view. She yawned softly and kept trudging on.

A few barks arose from up ahead, and she could see a tiny black dot moving in the horizon. She stopped and waited for it to come to her.

Bradley went sprinting down to Rose, having caught her scent in the wind. He barked happily and pounced onto her.

Rose shrieked with laughter. "Bradley!! You goof I'm so glad to see you!!"

Bradley ran back home, with Rose close behind his tail.

Gatsby paced back and forth. "She should have been home by now..."

Nick looked up at him from the bed. "Traffic maybe love?" Gatsby shook his head and kept pacing.

Bradley came barreling down the hallway and into Nick. Nick squeaked and pet Bradley. "Jeez, bud, you're getting to heavy for this." Bradley barked, and in sight came Rose.

"There you are!! Where have you been, young lady?" Gatsby crossed his arms.

Rose broke down into tears and hugged Gatsby tightly. Shocked, he gently wrapped his arms around her. "Muffin, what happened?"

Nick got up from bed and sat next to them. Rose explained everything between huge sobs. When she got to home from school, when Capone picked her up, the 'party', the GodFather, and her running away to home.

Gatsby held her close and comforted her. "It's all over now.... okay?"

Rose nodded and sniffled. Nick gently kissed her forehead. "Come on hun, I'll read you a bedtime story and then we'll go to sleep, okay?"

Rose nodded and left to her room.

Nick and Gatsby both looked at each other. "...." "...." Nick left to go to Rose as Gatsby sat on the edge of the bed. Anger consumed his entire soul.
