*First Song - Goshintai*

"Today. It has to be today. I can't put it off anymore. I have to ask her."

*~*~*

"Oh my Gods! Robin!"

"What, Lissa?" Robin asked as she stepped out from the screen.

"You're gorgeous!"

"You've already seen this dress before.  You help me pick out the colors and the look!"

"Yeah, but not on you!  If I didn't know, I would think you were a princess!"

"Aw, thank you, Lissa!  Will you help me finish getting ready?"

"Of course!"

Yuletide was a major time of year.  Even if the country was at war, Ylisse stopped and celebrated Naga's divine protection.  Though most people used it as an excuse to drink excessively and party all night long.  Even though Ylisse was fighting Plegia, the castle held a ball for nobles and other important guests such as the Shepherds.  Due to her lack of memory, Lissa wanted to make Robin's first Yuletide extra special, so Lissa got the royal dressmaker to make a dress for Robin.  Lissa also offered to help Robin get ready.

Though Lissa's help was much appreciated, Robin didn't feel comfortable having so much done for her, and wearing dresses was something she was not used to doing.  Her tactician armor was all she really wore, and it was made for practicality and mobility.  This dress was the exact opposite.  Though, Robin couldn't deny that it was beautiful.

With the corset pulled and the crinoline under the skirt, the dress complimented Robin's figure.  The skirt came out and flowed to her ankles, creating a circle.  It was sleeveless straight across neckline.  It was midnight blue, accented with gold lace that glittered in the light.

Lissa combed out all the knots in Robin's hair and then, curled it slightly.  She pulled out a flower crown with deep blue flowers and leaves that were painted gold.  Lissa gave Robin a pair of heels but after trying them out, decided that maybe Robin shouldn't make a fool of herself.  So, they went with a pair of ballet flats.

Next, they put on jewelry.  A simple pendent adorned her chest, and her wrists were wrapped in gold metal.

Lastly was makeup which Robin protested much about. Finally, she gave in and let Lissa only put powder, rouge, a light lipstick, and eyeliner.

"Perfect!" Lissa cried. "Now for the finishing touch." She pulled out a gold and blue mask: simple, yet elegant. She placed on Robin's face, only letting her chocolate eyes peek out.

Lissa circled Robin, checking for any flaw, but then, decided it was good. "See you at the ball!" She left Robin's room to go get herself ready.

Robin sat down on her bed and waited as the hours rolled by. The sun was setting when she got up and went to find Lissa. She went to her bedroom, but she wasn't there. 'I guess she's already there.'

Robin strolled to the ballroom and saw a long line of people. "This way, milady," a man in his late 50s guided. She tried to argue with him that she was not a noble, but he didn't care. She was a guest, so she had to be announced (well under a fake name; it was a masquerade ball). She sighed and joined the people.
