It was a rainy and cold Sunday morning in October when I woke up in my bed. "Total lack of movement" I thought. I just didn't want to get up... 9:15 am was definitely too early for starting a day. It was the third Sunday im my own flat. Actually I shared it with two other guys, Felix and Marc. They were nice but I don't think that we could have become friends.
I got up to be the first one in the bathroom and I won the dayli fight. I took a long shower, and got myself dressed in dark blue jeans Shorts and a white T-shirt. Today it took long. After half an hour I was ready for breakfast but I wasn't determined to do it. The bell rang, I ran to open the door, and, quite surprisingly, Graham, the always late, was there. "What do you want? It's not quite 10 am" I said before he was able to say something. "Oh yes I'm happy too see you again too. And I'm hungry I want breakfast." "I'm very sorry Mr. Chapman but we ran out of evething." "Luckily", he said and grapped a brown paper from behind his back,"I have some substances with me." He throwed it at me, I catched it and I've smellt warm Croissants. "Oh can the day become any better?" I laughed. "I think it could" he answered walking straigt into the kitchen, laying down a few sheets of newspaper and a tin-bottle filled with hot chocolate.
"Prais to thee, oh lord, for this. Give me a thankfull heart that I may see, Graham Chapman come of thee." Amen" I chuckled, knowing this Sunday wouldn't be as awful as I'd expected it to be. I reached for two cups from cupboard while Gray already laid the table. I sat down to pour the hot chocolate into our cups. We both sipped it and ate one croissant each. He gave me a pen and the newspaper. "Go on and mark everything you think sounds funny." "Alright, sir" I replied. We both where sitting in the small kitchen which smelled so nice and marked funny lines in silents for about fourty minutes. I'm a very talkative person and so it was very hard to me to be that quiet but Graham could sit there all day without saying a word. But after that fourty minutes I broke the silence with "The Police found a skeleton in an armchair at its home and they now confirmed that the person had died more then a few months ago." Graham repeated: "Officially pronounced dead after finding the skeleton. Uh that's quite funny" he wrote it down into a small note book, I never saw before but then everytime something interesting or funny happened. I didn't know why he did that but he had a lot of fun with it.

We stopped having breakfast soon after that and we went to my room where we watched TV together and just enjoyed ourselves till the sun went down. Then he got up, gave me a kiss on my forehead and left without a word. I was quite confused by this guy most of the time but I was sure that I never loved someone like him before. Of course it was only platonic love but it was the strongest I ever felt.
