Skin tight red dresses were her favorite. The same color as blood, a liquid she grew to love. The snugger the dress, the happier the victim and boy did she love sneak attacks. One night stands usually ended in horror and that was how she liked it. Only one person had ever taken her heart and that ended in gore too.

She was cold on the inside but hot to the touch. She knew her way around the male body which always made it easier to reel one in. She also got women from time to time but she was already an expert as she was one.

Her make-up had to be spot on to cause the most drastic effects. She always wore her hair curled and down. Her toenails and fingernails were painted a deep black. She was always freshly waxed when going to events such as the one tonight.

The event was all about business. They were almost like a grand ball but with a stage for business talkers and no dancing. She had inherited her father's company of casinos and mainly stayed in Vegas. No one expected her dark secret of murder which only made it easier for her to hide. Fake smiles were always within the business and hers was the brightest.

Her ownership in casinos made her rich and gave her the large house she had. It also gave her a place to find more victims. Only the smartest of people stayed away from her, knowing she was no good but those were very few and far between. She made bets and almost never lost, exciting most. When she did she just smiled and handed over the portion of money she'd given up. It never hurt her in any way to gamble.

Right now she was sitting in a chair across from another business woman who wore a green dress that flowed near her feet. She believed it was quite the ugly dress but the woman wearing it was beautiful. Discussing business was always so boring to her so she only engaged in talking to attractive people. The woman's name was Marissa.

She took a small sip of her wine, staining the side of the glass red with her lipstick. Red dress, red hair, red wine, red lipstick. She gazed down Marissa with her seductive brown eyes, making the woman stutter as she presented her idea. The sound made her lips form into a smirk.

"Your idea sounds intriguing..." she lied to Marissa. She wasn't listening to the girl at all except for that sweet stutter. "How much are you asking I invest?"

"I'm asking three thousand Miss Vega," the side of Marissa's lip twitched. That was a sign of being nervous.

"Oh please, it's Valerie," Valerie smiled, pulling a wad of five thousand dollars out of her pocket, sliding it towards Marissa. "Use it well," with that she left the table with her wine glass.

A man that had been walking behind Marissa caused Valerie to become intrigued. His brown hair was in a fluffy swoop to the right, his skin was a beautiful tan color, his body muscular to the perfect extent. He was wearing a black suit with a white button up underneath and a black tie around his neck. She didn't really have an idea as to why he intrigued her but he had.

She took another sip of her wine, eyes tracing his every movement. She stalked through the people elegantly, trying her best to reach him. She noticed a woman start talking to him which he smiled at. He had a very charming smile, she noted.

A hand grazing her arm stopped her movement. She turned to whoever touched her, making sure to do it slow enough to ensure that her wine wouldn't spill. A large fake smile formed over her lips at the man in front of her. He wasn't near as intriguing as the other man which almost caused her to turn again and completely ignore him but instead she kept the large fake smile on her face and asked what he wanted with her.

"Would you like me to buy you a drink?" she almost groaned at the idiocy of whoever was in front of her. She had a literal wine glass in her hand that was being refilled by any waiter that saw it wasn't exactly full because of her stance in business. She gave most of them a generous tip to charm them. "You look lovely."
