"How was school, cutie?" His mom asked in a sweet voice.
Jimin gave a soft smile before he ran his fingers through his hair.
"School was fine as usual!" He replied calmly. "In fact.. I think I actually made a friend." Jimin continued, his smile growing even bigger.
His mom's eyes widened in shock.
"W-well, that's amazing, honey! I'm so so proud of you!" She exclaimed as she pulled the boy into another hug. "This calls for a celebration, what do you think?" She asked Jimin.
"Mom.. you don't have to do that." Jimin said as he shook his head, giggling slightly.
"No, no! I insist! Let's have ice cream for dinner, what do you think about that?"
Jimin groaned before replying with, "Mom, you know I can't say no to ice cream.."
"In celebration of your new friend, let's eat ice cream for dinner! I'll go tell your dad. Oh, by the way, what's his name?"
"Yoongi. His name is Min Yoongi." Jimin replied as he fidgeted with the hem of his jacket sleeve, a huge grin plastered to his face.

Jimin woke up after a long night's rest, the remnants of chocolate icecream still on his face from last night's hard earned dinner. He quickly got up and out of bed, throwing on a pair of black skinny jeans and a white t-shirt, which he tucked into his jeans. I'm so excited to see Yoongi!! The young boy thought to himself. He walked out of his room with a huge grin plastered to his face.
"Are you up, baby?" Jimin's mother called as Jimin made his way to the kitchen. The boy sat down in a chair at the island in the middle of the kitchen as he waited for breakfast.
"Yeah, mom. What's for breakfast?" Jimin replied with a big yawn. His mother gave him a small smile.
"Pancakes!" She exclaimed happily as she stood in front of a counter, mixing up the batter for chocolate chip pancakes.
Jimin waited patiently, spinning in his chair as he waited for the pancakes to be finished. When his mother set down a plate full of pancakes, Jimin immediately turned around to face them. He took two off the stack of freshly made breakfast, and quickly spread butter, then syrup on to his food, leaving his breakfast to swim in a pool of sticky syrup. He dug into his food with a huge grin on his face.
Once the pancakes were gone and he had downed a glass and a half of chocolate milk, he got up from his chair to pack his bag for school. As soon as he was all set, he ran to give his mom a hug before he left the apartment.
Walking down the sidewalk along the road to school came bubbly Jimin with a huge smile on his face as he rummaged through his backpack to find his mask, which he put on. As Jimin was crossing the street, he noticed a figure walking just ten feet behind him. The boy turned around to find the one and only Yoongi walking to school! His smile grew even bigger as he ran back to Yoongi to greet him.
"H-hi, Yoongi!" The younger boy exclaimed, happy to see his friend. The older just rolled his eyes and huffed. Yoongi reached into his sweatshirt pocket to pull out his phone and a pair of earbuds, putting both into his ears as he put on some music.
"Yoongi?" Jimin said again, waving his hand in front of the older's face, trying to get his attention. Yoongi just ignored him and continued walking, faster this time, as he didn't want to talk to Jimin. Jimin adjusted his pace to match Yoongi's, and called his name a third time. Yoongi stopped walking, took out one earbud, and turned around to face the bubbly boy.
