Chapter 11

The plane landed and David and I went to the hotel.

"There is only one bed in the room I got." I said to David as we were almost to the hotel. "I can ask for one with two beds."

"No one bed is fine. Just don't touch me while I sleep." David said and laughed

"I should be saying that to you." I said and laughed with him

When we got to the hotel I checked in and we went up to our room. I put my stuff on the side of the bed that had the outlet. Then I went out on the balcony to look at the view. It was a really nice view. David came out on the balcony and scared me. After I argued with him I texted my mom to see if she was in New York yet. She didn't answer so she was probably still on the plane.

I still have a key so David and I got a cab and went to my moms place. I unlocked the door and everything was exactly the same. I showed David around so he knew where everything was. Then we went to my room. David had his camera with him and I had an Idea. I grabbed his camera and turned it on.

"What are you doing?" David said confused

"I'm gonna do exactly what you do to everyone."

"What's that mean?"

"Lay down on the floor and cover your eyes with that blanket."

"Okay." 

I set up the camera where you can see David and went into my moms room where my snake Brad was. I carefully grabbed him out of his tank and brought him into the room where David was freaking out.

"Before I put him on you I have to say something. If you hurt him I will hurt you."

"Okay." 

I laid the snake on Davids stomach.

"Romey! What is that? Get it off me!" David screamed

"Take the blanket off your eyes."

He slowly lifted the blanket off his face and screamed when he saw the snake.

"Romey get it off!"

I carefully picked up Brad and let him wrap around my body.

"How are you so calm?"

"I've had snakes since I was little."

"Wow."

"I'm gonna put him back and grab some boxes."

I left the room put Brad back in his tank and grabbed a few boxes. I walked back in the room and started taking stuff off the walls and putting it in a box. David and I talked for a little while. Then I heard the front door open and my mom say

"I'm home!"

I walked out of the room and helped her with her luggage. Then told her David was with me and not Toddy and I would explain that later. Then I introduced her and David. They exchanged hello's then David and I went back to my room.

I kept putting my stuff in boxes and throwing stuff I didn't need away. I put shipping labels on the boxes so they could be shipped to my studio. Once we did as much as we could today I said goodbye to my mom and we went to the hotel.

We ordered room service and ate then we went to bed. We stayed on our own side of the bed not touching each other. I was about to fall asleep when my phone started ringing. It was Todd so I picked it up and went on the balcony to answer it.

"Hello?" I said

"Hey. I saw your video."

"Okay?"
