Debriefing

The 25th of June, 2015

Nicolette let out a soft groan as she felt someone lightly shaking her shoulder.

"Come on, Nic, you gotta get up," Eggsy said in a calm voice.

"I don't wanna," Nicolette groaned, turning into her pillow.

Eggsy let out a quick chuckle as he pulled his hand away from Nicolette's shoulder, "I'm gonna take a shower. You have until I get out to get up. If you're not up, I'll make you get up."

Nicolette hugged her pillow as she heard Eggsy leave the bedroom and then heard the shower being turned on. The young woman listened to the sound of the running water before she finally decided to get up. She sat up, swinging her legs over the side of the bed, and stretched her arms. Before she got up from the bed, she saw a glass of water and a few pain killers on her bedside table.

A smile found its way to Nicolette's lips at the small gesture Eggsy had made. She took the pain killers and drank the glass of water before standing and stretching the rest of her body. Nicolette ran her fingers through her short pixie length hair before starting to gather her clothes to get dressed. She had just taken off her pajama shirt when Eggsy came back into the bedroom.

"Aw, you got up on your own," Eggsy said in mock disappointment.

"Ha ha," Nicolette said as she put on her button down shirt, "Thank you for the pain killers, by the way. I drank a lot of water last night, too, but my head still kind of hurt."

Eggsy moved to give Nicolette a quick kiss, "You're welcome, love."

The two agents soon got themselves dressed, Nicolette making sure the dogs were fed, before they went to leave the house.

"What happened to the cab?" Nicolette asked as Eggsy pulled up in his classic jaguar E-Type.

"The cab's not exactly in, the best shape," Eggsy said with a shrug.

Nicolette let out a mix of a laugh and a sigh before she got into the passenger seat.

The two then smoothly made their way to the Kingsman shop on Saville Row.

Upon arriving, they made their way up to the second floor, where they were meant to meet Arthur, Roxy, and Merlin for a debriefing. When they reached the second floor, Eggsy opened the door for Nicolette and himself.

"Ah, Galahad, Guinevere, you're late," Arthur remarked, "We were wondering if one of you had another encounter with Charlie."

"I wish," Eggsy said as he moved to take his seat next to Arthur and across from Roxy, "I'm lookin' forward to finishin' him off."

Nicolette sat down next to Eggsy, "I knew there was something about him that I didn't like."

Eggsy pulled out his glasses from his coat pocket and put them on while Nicolette pulled hers down from atop her head.

"Alright, Gents," Eggsy said, greeting the Kingsmen who were in the meeting via digital means.

"Good morning, everyone," Nicolette added with a small nod of her head.

Merlin could then be seen entering the meeting room.

"Merlin, come in," Arthur granted, "Galahad, Guinevere, and Lancelot, please stay for Merlin's debrief. Everyone else, reconvene at nineteen hundred hours."

The rest of the gathered Kingsman agents gave small nods before removing their glasses while Merlin moved to stand next to the view screen in the room.

"So," Merlin started before sending information up to the view screen, "The man who attacked Galahad in the taxi was Charlie Hesketh. Rejected Kingsman applicant turned bad. We last saw him in Richmond Valentine's HQ."

Merlin then showed some recovered footage from Valentine's systems that showed when Charlie had apprehended Nicolette and Eggsy.

"I caught a couple of fucking spies!" Charlie yelled in the recording while having a knife to Nicolette's throat and a hand on Eggsy's shoulder.

It could then be seen that Nicolette was electrocuting Charlie with a Kingsman signet ring before she ducked out from under his arm. Eggsy then punched Charlie in the face, knocking him out.

"Like everyone else there, Charlie had a security implant in his neck," Merlin continued, "A weakness we had no choice but to exploit."

The footage then showed the heads of all the gathered A-listers exploding.

"Hey, Merlin. Still 'fuckin' spectacular,' eh?" Eggsy asked with a soft chuckle, doing his best to imitate Merlin.

Everyone in the room went quiet and Nicolette nudged Eggsy under the table.

"Come on, guys, loosen up. We saved the world," Eggsy said, trying to lighten the mood.

"Yeah. Unfortunately, Galahad, you and Guinevere ended up saving Charlie as well," Merlin said before more security footage started to play on the view screen, "When Guinevere electrocuted him, she damaged his implant."

Charlie could be seen starting to get up, missing his right arm.

"Instead of his head exploding, he only lost an arm and his vocal chords," Merlin explained.

"Fucker should be thankin' us then," Eggsy said with a huff.

"And now he's back for revenge?" Arthur asked.

"We don't think so, sir," Merlin answered, "We believe he's being recruited by an unknown organization."

"Who then may get their hands on classified Kingsman information because Charlie's no good at keeping his trap shut," Nicolette muttered, resting her elbows on the table in front of her and her forehead on her hands.

"That isn't your fault, Guinevere," Merlin assured, "You had limited options in the situation you were in. That being said, Lancelot?"

"Got the police autopsy reports from Charlie's colleagues in the SUVs," Roxy started, "They're not just goons for hire. Fingerprints removed. Teeth filed smooth," The relevant information was being shown on the view screen as Roxy spoke, "I did a face recognition; nothing."

"And that, tattoo? What's the significance of that?" Nicolette asked, pointing to the image of a golden, "O" shaped body marking.

"A cosmetic tattoo made of twenty-four-carat gold. They all had one," Roxy explained, "It seems like we're looking at some kind of underworld organization."

"Do you have any other information pertaining to this supposed organization?" Nicolette asked.

"Not at this time. We will, however, keep watch for more information that may be related to this."

"Alright. For the time being, file the information under," Nicolette paused, thinking of a simple file title, "'Charlie and Colleauges'?"

Roxy gave a small nod.

"As for Charlie, do we have any ideas where he is now?" Nicolette asked Merlin.

"Unfortunately, not. He was separated from the men who were chasing Galahad in the SUVs. We will, however, be trying to keep better watch of Kingsman locations Charlie may know about," Merlin answered.

An agreed upon silence fell onto the gathered Kingsman agents. Arthur then dismissed the agents.
