Luke's POV (still)
The doctor approaches me, "we did everything we could, but we had to put her in a coma in order for her to survive" he says, I brake down, "can you call, Jake" I say between sobs, the doctor nods and leaves. I lean my back on the white wall and huddle my knees to my chest and cry. I grip my hair and scream. Scream of pain, scream of sadness. I hear rushed footsteps.
I feel someone hugging me "hey man, she'll pull through, she's strong" Jake says on the verge of tears, "I miss her" I sob. I miss her smile, her warmth. Her touch. "What's her condition" Jake says, "coma" I say wiping my eyes, "I'm going to see her, alone" I tell Jake.
I push the door open, I see her lifeless body, a tube hangs from her mouth to a machine, the machine keeps beeping, I quickly sit in a next to her bed. I put my hand in her's "I love you too" I say "I really do" I say as a tear splashes on her hand, I quickly rub it off her.
1 hour later.
A knock is heard "you ok" Jake says, "yeah, you can come in" I say my voice cracking. He opens the door wider and walks in, he picks up a chair and places it next to me and sits down.We sit in silence, listening to the heart machine.
