My legs were giving out, I haven't eaten for a while. Trudging through snow thigh high wasn't helping...

My cheeks were cold, my body was stiff. But I still managed to shiver from the cold. "If only I brought a warmer jumper.." I whispered, forming clouds with my breath.

The weather was getting worse, a snow storm was coming- a really bad one. The wind pierced through my only warmth.

I couldn't take it anymore... I collapsed, crawling to a wall for support. I leaned back to the wall in an alleyway, cool but hard. I hugged my legs, trying to cover my entire body with a small jumper.

"If only I was Marked, maybe fire would be nice. Or maybe a could make a jacket appear, shield myself from the cold? Teleport myself back, back to house?

I sighed, it wasn't going to happen anyway. It was almost past those times, he was getting too old for it.

Why

Why must a 13 year old experience this? The feeling of freezing to death. Of their body shutting down. Of the hopeless situation they can't get out of...

Maybe I deserves this, I didn't have any other plans. Fate decided that for me. My lips curved slightly, at least I didn't die a gruesome death.

Just then I felt something. Warmth.
The feeling when all your doubt has been taken away.

It was strong. The heat consumed me, even in this weather. It felt like I could walk antartica without a jumper.

I cracked open my eyes and saw

Omg this chapter was so bad >_<

I made a few tweaks here and there, the first chapter says that people are BORN knowing they are Marked but they seriously don't in these chapters sooo

I changed it so a mark APPEARS when they get their powers. Yay

Sorry for being inactive, as i told you guys. Inspiration didn't come to me. Heh
