The Reason

I’d be lying if I said I didn’t miss having him. Ian and I were getting really weak having our mate not talking or ignoring us. Every time I try to talk to him he either ignores me or leaves the damn room. I understand what I did wasn’t of, and I really messed up that time. It’s been like this for three days. Three. I almost went in depression just being away for one day, how do you think I am right now. I’m absolutely exhausted, tired and frustrated, at myself of course not Jess, he had the right to be a distant with me. It was my fault.

‘You prove to him you are changing.’ Lenny voice rang in my head. ‘Even if it’s slowly. You show him it’s surely for him.’

How was I supposed to do that? I’m just getting used to being with someone. I don’t know how I’d prove myself to that other person.

The fact that most of my classes are with him isn’t helping much either. Having my mate right across the other side of the room, kills to know he's avoiding eye contact and isn't speaking to me. Now don’t think I haven’t been trying because I have. I’ve tried talking, I’ve tried approaching him, but the pushing away is not helping! At the same time I’m not angry with him and angry with myself for bringing the old me back at that moment when I promised I’d change that fucking side of me!

The bell signalling class was over rung snapping me out of my self-pity when I saw Jess and Lenny speeding out the room as if a fire was occurring. It made Ian growl at me to know the reason for our mate to get out of the room so quickly was because of me. Hear that, my own fucking wolf was against me! No one was on my side and I deserved it alright. I admit I deserved it.

Our next and final class of the day was Music. The same class we’d have to perform our music mix in our group.

“Guys I have an unfortunate announcement.” Mr. Lord, the music teacher, states. “I must go to a meeting at this very moment so I shall leave you with Mrs. Annie for a while.” He points to the short lady beside him. “So we shall do the presentation the next class.” He finishes as a few cheers of relive came from have the students who probably weren’t ready. “I heard that procrastinating brats.” He said before walking out.

“All right dears.” Mrs. Annie jumped in excitement. “Let’s have some fun with this class instead of just socializing, practicing or studying. You and I both know it’s more the first two.” She winked as some of the class chuckled at the statement. “How about we do an open mic first. Let me hear all your wonderful voices as you sing your heart outs.”

That’s when it hit me. I remembered the first Date Jess and I had together.
