New guy

>>Jess POV<<

I sat there in the my math class absolutely depressed. Anthony wasn’t at school today, and according to Lenny, who was the only one who had his number, he was busy with some ‘Family Matters.’ Is it sad to be here wanting nothing more than to be with him right now? Leah and I were in pain for not being with him, and she wasn’t making anything better by howling at me to go look for him. Which surprised me considering she barley talks to me let alone wine her eyes out.

Here’s the thing with the wolf part of me. I’ve never actually turned into my wolf before, I mean I can go as far as letting my claws out, or having my eyes show itself, even my fangs once in a while, but I’ve never turned fully into an actual wolf. Mom said it wasn’t anything to worry about since I was only half wolf and all. She said it was the same with how my magic was also limited so I’ve never thought over about it. But ever since I met Tony she’s been nothing but annoying and possessive about him.

“.. war. Mr. Fairwar!”

I jumped to look at my now annoyed looking math teacher, Mr. Leiva.

“Yes sir.” I answered emotionlessly.

“Are you paying attention Mr. Fairwar?”

“Yes sir.” I lied

“Well then you come up and solve this problem.” He told me holding a chalk in my direction. “And while you’re at it for the love of all that Is good please wake up the other Fairwar.” I looked to my left and saw Lenny fast asleep lying his head on the desk in a pool of his own drool. I sighed mentally looking around to  see if anyone was watching, but they were all in their own little world, sleeping or secretly texting under their desk. I placed a finger to Lenny’s arm and watched as the small blue electricity appeared and shocked him out of his slumber.

“Ah! Jess!” He yelled jumping out of his chair to glare at me. “How many times have I told you to not wake me up with you ma-’’

“We’re in class.” I said before he could finish his sentence. That’s when he noticed the many pairs of eyes that were now glued to him at his outburst.

“Mr. Fairwar!” Mr. Leiva said as both me and Lenny turned to face him. “You!” he pointed at me. “Sit down. And you.” He pointed at Lenny. “Come solve this problem and if you can’t go straight to the principal’s office.”

“Um. Sir.” Lenny started as I took a seat. “If I was asleep, how am I supposed to know what to do.”

“Figure it out.” He said as he tossed the chalk to Lenny. “Either you do it and get it correct or you can go straight to the principal’s office.” He smiled knowing Lenny would probably get it wrong.
