My Brother's Enemy// Sweet Pea x Reader

The Initiation

After finishing the rest of the school day, the younger Serpents and Jughead brought me to a bar called the 'Whyte Wyrm'.

"There are four stages to becoming a wonderful Serpent, Doll face. Or you could take the easy way out and perform a pole dance for us, I wouldn't mind either way," Sweet pea smirks

I once again roll my eyes. Maybe one day it'll stay at the back of my head so I don't have to watch these stupid people.

"I'll do this the hard way. I like it like that, which I'm sure you wouldn't be able to do," I grinned laughing with Fangz and Toni.

"The first stage is to take care of Hot dog, "The Beast". Next, you memorize and recite our six laws. Then, you retrieve a knife from the rattlesnake cage. Lastly, we have "The Gauntlet", you'll be gang banged by all of us to show loyalty and strength. Also, when doing that, you rise and stand firm," He states clearly 

"This is all so exhilarating!" I jumped around hugging both Fangz and Toni, flicking Sweet Pea's head.

"When do I start? Can I do it now? Please Sweets? Pleaseeeee?" Holding his shoulders, looking at him straight in the eyes with my gaze.

"Weren't your eyes just a hazel? What the hell?" He asks in shock

"Oh yea, they do that," I say

He's speachless and looks away, "We'll start tonight. Also, how does your brother feel about this?"

"I'm at the point where I don't care about him anymore. Pretty much doing anything to defy him right now."

"Being a Serpent doesn't mean you can use us to defy someone you're mad at. Either you stay with us, or you don't join," He scoffs

"Guess, we're gonna be buddies for a long time now Pea," I say beaming like the sun.

I tied my plaid shit on my waist, letting it rest there while I checked my phone for notifications. I should text dad...

D=Dad Y=(Y/n)

D: (Y/n) where are you?

Y: I'm currently with friends right now. Can I stay for the night at Jug's trailer?

D: Sure, just text me tomorrow.

Y: Kk

Jughead entered the pub. "I'm over being half a Serpent."

"Wow. You will do anything to protect your Northside buddies."

Sweet Pea and Jughead talk it out. They decided they were going to let Jug have his Inititation with me. 

~ Time Skip ~

Jug had slept on the floor while I slept on his bed. I groggily twist and turn. 

I see several shadows on the floor. I look up...

"What the hell? Jughead!" In front of us were some Serpents in masks. They looked like god damn Goblins.

"Your initiations begin now. With you assumin the guardianship of the beast." Sweet Pea's voice deepened wiith the mask

Out of nowehere, a cute little fur ball jumps onto the bed. "You've gotta be kidding me," I laugh at Jughead's voice

Hugging the pup close, I text dad.

D=Dad Y=(Y/n)

Y:I'm heading off to school dad

D: Okay, be safe

I had hours before school started so I played with the cute doggo.

~ Time Skipo ~ 

"So, what do you think of the beast?" Toni asks us

"He's so cute!" I tell her 

"He stinks and he barks all the time. He's got no boundaries," I hear Jug mumble

I let the two continue their chat and just hang on back, third wheeling.

Y=(Y/n) 

Y: Dad, we have a really big group project for school so I'm just gonna stay here till the weekend

I haven't talked to Arch in pretty long... Should I call him? I wanna hear his voice. Nah.

Jughead, Toni, and I practice the Serpent laws over and over again, until it's time. "What is the fourth law?" Tallboy asks with his raspy voice

"No Serpent is left for dead." Jughead and I recite together perfectly

"What is the fifth law?"

"A Serpent never betrays its own."

"What is the sixth?"

"In unity, there is strength."

Everyone then joins in, "In unity, there is strength!" They all shout

I guess it's time for the next stage, whatever it is.
