Jug paced in his trailer while I sat numbly at the couch.

The door rattles open and FP walks in.

Jughead freaks out, "Well? What did they say? Are they kicking us out?"

"There's gonna be a vote. You two versus Penny."

"Us versus... What, they can't see what we get? With Penny in the picture?"

"Penny's a cobra, but mutilating her? That's the kind of thing you don't come back from, Jug, (Y/N)."

"Yeah, like stuffing a teenager's body in a freezer?"

I sigh, that was too far.

FP holds his son's collar, pushing him against the cupboard, "You need to learn to keep your damn mouth shut! Tall Boy was right. You brought the Northside down on us. Serpents are losing their dens because of what you wrote."

It wasn't my place to, and I know this, but I had to do something.

I walk up slowly, placing a soft hand on FP's shoulder, "Hey, you don't want to do this. You'll regret it in the end."

Jug carries on pushing his father's limits again, "Yeah, don't kid yourself. You're using my article. And they're using what happened to the statue of General Pickens as an excuse to justify something they've already been doing."

FP shrugs my hand off, turning to his son that was about to leave, "What? You think you're a hero, Jug? You and (Y/N) cutting up a woman? Bringing the temple down right on our damn heads? Both of you... will be the death of us. Not the Northside, not Penny. You two."

Jug throws his beanie down in annoyance.

"Yeah? Well fuck you too, FP. Let's go, Jug," I sneer, careless of the disrespect I was giving.

*Time Skip*

We were at Veronica's confirmation. I wore a dark burgundy dress, clearly not fitting in but whatever.

I held onto Jug's hand, giving him a couple gentle squeezes letting him know that I was there for him. Betty looked at our interlocked hands a couple times, trying not to make it obvious.

Anyhow, he and FP still haven't made up after their big fight and we still haven't heard word on the vote between us and Penny yet. It didn't matter, today was Ronnie's day.

Josie stood up in front singing her stuff. There were too many things going on at once, I couldn't focus.

For example, Archie looking behind him every few seconds. What the hell was he looking at?

Forget him, Veronica walks in a gorgeous white dress while performing a duet with Josie.

They go on with all their confirmation mumbo jumbo and eventually the after party starts. (Forgive my atheist ways I don't even know what was going on in that scene)

Jug and I are on the second floor at this point, "Do you think we're gonna win the vote?"

"Jug, shut up. This is Veronica's day. don't ruin it. To answer your question blatantly, I don't really know. I just hope they realize why we did it. Also, Betty's coming over here, go dance with her or something."

He nods, not knowing what else to do.

I walk away, trying to find someone or something to keep my mind off everything.

After some time I find Kevin, immediately pulling him to the dance floor for the slow song.

"Woah, hey there."

"Hey, Kev. We should hang out more. You're always so busy with your stuff and I'm always so busy with mine. I wanna just drop it all so I can just talk to you. Wait... WoAh you're buff buff, now."
