I switched off my phone, seeing messages from my cheating boyfriend.
I couldn't bear to look at him, why am I even still with him?
I was up, still thinking about what I had seen a few days ago.
I had walked into Felix's apartment, seeing him topless and a girl sitting on his bed. She was sweaty, wearing a large shirt, I could only guess it was Felix's.
He had heard someone enter, and caught my eye before seeing my heart break as I ran out.
He had texted me constantly, but I hadn't dared answer him... my heart would break even more.
After thirty minutes of staring into space, an empty feeling in my stomach, I heard a knock on the door.
I looked through the peephole, seeing Felix on the outside.
Just the sight of him made me feel sick, both with disgust and nervousness.
"(Y/n), please let me in." He said, knocking again.
After he pleaded, I let him in, ignoring him and went to get a glass of water.
"It's late, why are you still up?" I asked after a while, Felix annoying me as he started talking about how much he had missed me, completely ignoring the elephant in the room.
"(Y/n), let me explain." He said, grabbing my hand, to which I pulled away immediately, and he just sat down on the sofa, I followed him reluctantly.
"You think I cheated." He said, "But Yebin was drenched from the rain, do you remember? It was raining heavily that day. I gave her my shirt, because it was dry and my things were in the launderette, you know that, because you came with me earlier that day." He said, I nodded slowly.
"I didn't cheat on you, I'd never even think about it." He said, smiling at me. "I love you (y/n)-"
"She was still on your bed, why?" I asked.
"I was getting the towels, from my room, she followed." He said, I shook my head. It was a lame excuse, but it was so truthful.
I didn't know whether to believe him or not, it was almost too coincidental.
"Let me think." I said, going into the kitchen, Felix sitting comfortably watching TV.
What if he was lying?
What if he wasn't lying?
His voice sounded sincere.
And when had Felix ever lied to me before?
I should believe him...
Shouldn't I?
I walked back courageously, sitting opposite him and his gaze immediately went to me.
"Am I forgiven for not cheating?" He asked, I nodded slowly.
He squealed with happiness, picking me up and placing me on his lap.
"I knew you loved me too." He said, I blushed as he tickled me.
I was still a bit awkward with Felix for the next week or so, he knew why so it was fine; he acted normally and within a few days everything was fine. Yebin would soon be out of the picture, thankfully, she was moving towns!
Even if she didn't do anything with Felix, it was common knowledge that she didn't like me and fancied Felix a lot.
We had a late date night, going to a restaurant before going back to my apartment to watch films.
"You need to sleep now, it's almost 2am." I said, he rolled his eyes.
"Surely you need to sleep too." He said, I nodded, getting up to go to my bed.
"Stay with me." He said, holding my hips and leg down as I tried to walk away.
"Well, come with me." I said, blushing, offering for him to sleep in my bed the first time.
"Really?" He asked, getting up quickly as I nodded.
After brushing my teeth, I opened the bathroom to see a topless Felix, what a sight. He chuckled as he saw me blush, and hurried in to go to the toilet.
"Good night baby." He said, once he had gotten into my bed. He kissed my forehead and temple, before pulling me close to his warm body and we fell asleep
