Bang Chan wasn't here, yet again.
Maybe it was that day, once a week when he doesn't come in; or perhaps it was the full week each month where he doesn't come in.
I started to notice about 6 months ago, he would leave for a day, his friends thought it was normal until he started missing tests and important events such as Award Ceremonies and Concerts.
He was class president after all, how could you not notice him not being there?
"Oi!" I shouted at the person who just barged past me, it was one of Bang Chan's friends Changbin.
He muttered a sorry and ran off.
I put my books in my locker and closed it, going to lunch.
I grabbed a sandwich and sat on the table with a few people who said they were my friends, though I knew they talked shit about me behind my back.
After I finished my sandwich, I left the dining room, going straight to the library where I picked up reading my favourite book, for maybe the 500th time, 'Dracula'.
I don't know what interested me about the book; from the outside it was a superficial story about a vampire falling in love and killing people, however it was much deeper and told us a lot about human nature and love itself.
The bell rang and I put the book back on its shelf, hopefully no one would be taking it out anytime soon.
"(Y/n), you know you can take that book home." The librarian said to me, smiling.
"I know, but I find it more comfortable reading it here." I said, she nodded and carried on scanning books as I left my favourite place in the world.
At the end of school, I grabbed my books out of my locker and quietly left school, my 'friends' waving me off, and I could see their faces out of the corner of my eye turn ugly as I walked away.
"(Y/n)! MAKE DINNER!" Mum shouted at me from upstairs, I dropped all my books and went to the kitchen.
I made rice and kimchi stew, mum thanked me and I went to do my homework.
It was the same routine each day, but with different meals, which meant I was surprised when I received a text message from an unknown number.

Come to the roof. Dw, I'm someone U know
Read 8:23pmWho would be on the roof? Not one of my 'friends', they didn't know anything about me, not even where I lived so it couldn't be them.
My heart was pounding a bit, and I told my mum I was going to the roof for air, because our apartment didn't have a garden, this was usual for me.
"The door's always open." She said, we only locked the doors when we were both inside, or both outside not when the other was inside as to make it easier when walking in or out.
I walked up slowly to the roof, slightly scared at who it might be.
I saw the night sky before anything else on the roof, it was a dark blue color, not quite black, and there were hundreds of stars dotted around like a dot to dot drawing.
"Hey (Y/n)." Chan said from the bench on the roof, his voice soft and deep.
"Umm, Hey?" I asked, he looked hot in his black ripped jeans, white t-shirt and denim jacket.
"Why did you text me?" I asked, still very confused.
"Didn't you miss me at school?" He asked.
"How did-? No." I said, almost giving myself away, but my cover up was excellent.
