i see a million faces everyday.
but do they see me?
truly see me for what i am?
not me, a lonely girl listening to music on the swing set.
me, who watches people to better understand them.
not me, an angry teenager hating the world
with every fiber of my body.
me, who's afraid of what the future holds.
me, who puts up an act of toughness when she's terrified.
those people don't know me.
i'm just whatever they want me to be.
i'm a moldable pile of clay.
make me into whatever you want.
i don't care.
because i know who i am.
i'm just a person trying to exist in this world.
