Art Museum [Namjin]

chapter 6

Jin entered his room, threw himself on his bed and got his phone out of his pocket. he was a bit on social media before he decided to text Namjoon. the brunette clicked the icon for 'contacts' and saw that he had saved himself as >Joonie💕<. cute.

to: Joonie💕

hey, Jin here, wanna go for coffee tomorrow? ^^

nah, that is too much.

options - delete message? - yes

hi, are you free tomorrow? Jin ♡

that just doesn't sound like him.

hey Namjoon, it's Jin

that sounds okay for the beginning

send message? - yes

satisfied Jin laid down his phone to take a short nap. he got up to change into some more comfortable clothes, after what happened the last days he needed some sleep.

when he woke up the sun was setting and painted his room orange and red. he rolled around in his bed, surprisingly still tired, but now hungry.

he grabbed his phone from the nightstand, it showed that he got a new message. when he unlocked it he saw it was Namjoon, who had replied within a few minutes. opening the chat he read and replied:

Joonie💕
hi Jin, didn't expect you to actually text me tbh xD

Seokjin
I always keep my promises^^
by the way, about the making up thing, are you still okay with coffee? we can do something different if you want.

changing into a light blue sweater and casual jeans he left the room with his phone, headphones and some money to meet up with the others. they decided earlier to get some sushi that evening and Jin wanted to be in time.

the brunette had to walk about twenty minutes until he reached the restaurant where the four friends would always go. he spotted Jimin on a bench near the entrance, Jungkook and Taehyung not there yet. greeting the younger with a hug he sat beside him to wait for the other two.

not that much later the group was complete and they walked in, sitting on the same table like always. when they ended ordering the chatting began.

"so, about this Namjoon guy, are you really going to meet up with him again?" Jimin asked, sipping on his coke.

"I hope so, I lowkey ship them to be honest" Jungkook laughed while Jin's ears got red because of his words. "shut up Kook. but yes, I hope we can meet again, he is really nice and humble. you guys would probably like him too. I messaged him today by the way."

as their food got served Tae asked "what did you text him? and what would you do if you two are gonna meet up again?"

Jin handed him his phone so he could read the chat, Namjoon didn't reply to his last text yet. "I said something about getting coffee together but I don't know..." he trailed of and stuffed his mouth with some maki rolls.
 
"a date already, wow hyung, I'm so proud of you." Jimin winked at Jin who choked on his shushi, his face got red when he coughed.

when he gulped down his sushi he protested "oh god no, stop, he is practically a stranger." "but do you like him, like, date-like?" Jungkook asked curious. the oldest rolled his eyes. "obviously I like him, other ways I wouldn't want to meet him again. but not date-like."

Jimin then changed the topic and the four friends continued eating and chatting until Jin recived a notification on his phone, a text from Namjoon. he opened it and read:

Joonie💕
it's cute how you put so much effort into that, even tho I said it's fine haha. but yes, coffee is still a good decision.

he had to smile and blush while reading the text and writing back:

Seokjin
okay, then, how does the day after tomorrow afternoon sound?^^

Namjoon instantly read the text.

Joonie💕
yeah I'm free there.

Seokjin
great, see you then♡

the rest of the group of course noticed the wide grind on their hyungs' face and didn't even had to ask who texted him. they paid and left the restaurant, straight away going to their rooms on the campus. the group split with some hugs and good night wishes, full with the tasty food they just had.
