Your only young when your brought into such a world...but I wonder what...
The swaying of my body and heavy footsteps woke me out of the darkness. Without hesitation I lunged out of their grasp gaining my surroundings as I fell on the road.
Looking up disheveled I saw that the person carrying me was in-fact a young guy around my age. The world we know now with the 'every man for himself' presence means no one is safe, and being hostile is a must. With a distance now between us I lifted my knife at the stranger and yelled "who are you?"
He slowly raised his hands and in a calm tone said "woah calm down I just saved you back there. The place was packed with screamers and I found you in the storage room at the back."
Still unsure I kept my knife raised and stayed firm in my spot. Realising he had no bad intentions as I was vulnerable the whole time and he did nothing I lowered my knife. "Sorry I'm just on edge because you know how it is out here." Nodding he sighs "yea...people are fucked up in this world. It's not the same."
As awkward tension slowly to rose I coughed slightly and said "uhm I'm Y/N...hi?" The guy laughed. "Why do you make it sound like it's more of a question, and hi I'm Namjoon."
Looking directly at me he held firm eye contact and then squinted. "You look around my age. How old are you?" Replying in a pitch higher I said "eighteen" suddenly realising how young I am. He made a sound of relief "ah I'm twenty. You must have joined this chaos very young then...similar to someone else in our camp."
The bolts and screws went round in my head then it hit me. "You have a camp!" I couldn't hide my excitement as I had never seen another camp for the whole year I had been in this mess we still call a world. He laughed once again "yes, why? Don't you have one?" Then his look turned pitiful.
I breathed out a long sigh "no I do, but I had to get my other members out of there with the medicine to get back to the camp...I can't risk my best friend getting ill because of me...she is one of the very few people I trust in this world" realising how deep I sounded I want to scream and run for the hills.
God were in a world full of flesh eating monsters and I still don't know when to shut the fuck up.
"I know what you mean don't worry" he says in a deep raspy voice. Considering the world is dying and 4 legged ugly creatures roam the earth I never expected to be simping over a random mans voice.
Moving my arms to stretch I let out a loud gasp and latched onto my arm in agony. The deep cavern which was in my arm oozed out with blood as I had stretched and torn the scab in my small movement.
Namjoon hurriedly came over to inspect it while I knelt on the floor with a scrunched up my face in undeniable pain. "The camp is still at least another 20 minute walk. Do you think you will make it?" He said with a voice laced in concern.
Nodding still with my scrunched nose I stood up and spoke out "Yea, but let's go quickly my shirt is ruined enough but these jeans are my favourite." He laughs saying "you don't have more than one pair of jeans?" walking ahead of him down the straight road I replied. "Nope it's my only pair and I am not getting them ruined."
Laughing slightly him and I began the journey to his camp. The walk was only just underway when what ever he was saying is started to sound muffled.
When I looked at him it became foggy and his face smoothed into just a blur and the last thing I heard was him shouting my name before my body shut down and the abyss consumed me once again.
A/N Wow altogether over 40 people have read this if I have to be honest I only thought like 10 people would this read this... anyway sorry for the picture at the top I couldn't find a good one I wanted for like a road with trees on either side so I didn't describe the road in this chapter :) and I wonder who is in this camp😏😏 Daily pic of Mr Jungkook
