After having a big reunion with my camp mates and my team and introducing them to Jungkook I am now looking forward to seeing Lisa. "Where is Lisa? Is she any better" I say to Yoongi as he was conveniently stood next to me. "She is in there" he said pointing towards a tent "I'm not sure you want to go in there Y/N" "No I need to see her" I said trudging forward towards her tent-not prepared-for what I was about to see.
Slowly opening and peering in the tent I say "Lisa it's me Y/N" now stood fully in her tent a strangled gasp emits from my throat. She was pale;her veins were dark blue and her eyes were blank. She looked to weak to even still be alive and breathing. I instantly crouch next to her lifeless body and hold her frozen hands. Her trembling hands are now met with mine and she looks into my eyes knowing what was going through my mind. "When?" was all I was able to croak out to her. Barely audible she whispers "I was by the river...it came out of no where and bit me...it's over Y/N just get it over and done with now"
"What do you mean" I said with a rainfall of tears running down my cheeks"we can c-can do u-um something...what about medicine I got you some last time didn't I? Did you feel any better?" Tears had now blocked my vision but Lisa slowly and weakly connected her hand with my damp cheek. "I'm sorry, I should have told you earlier." Looking into my eyes she says "I'm sorry I have to leave you in this world. I love you and I will miss you Y/N, but remember the rain will pass...just look for the rainbow"
I desperately latch onto her with a strong hug like she was going to disappear there and then. "I don't think I'm going to last till tomorrow and I don't want to turn into one of them during the night...it's already late evening"she mumbled the last part. Against her shoulder I also mumble "I don't think I can Lisa...i don't want to lose you" I said leaving the hug. "Y/N when I'm gone I need you to move on and keep living I don't want you to mourn...you have many friends who still need you"
After a while of a comfortable silence Lisa breaks it "I want you to do it...I don't want to turn into one of them please Y/N" "give me some time to think I'll be back soon" I said reassuringly with a quick stroke over the back of her hand.
As I stepped out the tent I was greeted with a giddy and smiley Jungkook which juxtaposed my dreary and upset face. "Hey, hey what's wrong" he said worryingly but I could only manage my head shaking while covering my sobs which were making a come back. "Im sorry, did she not get well...come here" he was quick to open his arms and pull my body into his warmth. Now relaxed and my sobs being muffled by his hoodie I was able to tell him everything we talked about in the tent.
"I need to do it, she wants me to do it" leaving Jungkook's warmth I fiercely wipe my tears to go look for a knife. I know what I have to do...this is her last wish.
