After admiring the clean interior in front of me I looked left to see a canteen, and the amount of food had me drooling. But one thing caught my eye and it was the men and women dressed smartly in lab coats, contrasting from our old worn out clothing. Maybe they were doctors or scientists but my thoughts were cut short by a small young looking woman that now stood in front of us.
"Good evening, I am Jane and you must all be wondering what your purpose is here, right? Well this is one of the only working facilities left in the city and we are using it to help the greater good" "are you trying to make a cure" Hobi interrupted her joyfully. "What we do is for the greater good..." she replied with a calm but straight face.
"Tomorrow morning I will need all of your blood tested to help with our...research" Jane said looking at all of us as she tightly held her clipboard. "What happens if we don't want to" Jungkook says ruthlessly while holding my waist for support as my leg still emits pain. Noticing his tightening grip I look down to his arm and see the few cuts of directions, and at light speed I pull down his sleeve and act like I was get rid of dust. "Oh, we are not giving you a choice." She said with finality. "And besides, would you rather be out there or in here with luxuries such as food and beds."
"Guys are you sure about this-" Yoongi whispers but is cut short by Jane ordering vlad to get his men to take us away. "Take them to G ward, fourth floor" Vlad said leaning on his bat for support.
"Alright calm your tits I'm moving" Jennie says putting her hands up as she is pushed forward indicating her to move. Soon enough I'm shoved and nearly whimper from the weight being put on my leg as I stepped in front of me. Jungkook hastily grabs my waist again to help me up and keep me stable.
Once at the top of the stairs they all pushed us into one spacious room with six beds. "Wow" was all I could say peering round the well lit room with beddings that look freshly cleaned and smelt like heavenly downy fabric softener.
"Well What now" Hobi said as we all face eachother. Our answer all included a canon of shrugs from the entire team and some humming. Our thoughts were momentarily interrupted as the door swung open and they chucked a bag into the middle of the room. "eat up. That's what she wants" the man said then disappeared round the door and locked it like we were in a high lockdown prison.
"Why did they give us food like it's a fucking goodie bag for a birthday party" yoongi said examining the bag that had the contents of protein bars and fruit. "oh shut it, at least we're eating and not being eaten" Jennie replied tutting and eating a bar from the bag.
"Why did-I'm guessing Jane-want us to eat? Wait. Do you think she is trying to fatten us up so they can eat us-" "oh my days no you fucking dumbass. It probably so our blood will be better for tomorrow as we will have more nutrients" I interrupt Jungkook. "So they're vampires?" Jungkook replies looking up at me while mid-way chewing the protein bar. "Well, that's me signing out, goodnight everyone" I say striding over to an unoccupied bed.
Now it's night time and everyone is fast asleep, except for my wide awake ass. I've been staring into the abyss for god knows how long and can't seem to just shut down. Being awake in the dark is boring, so annoying Jungkook seems like the best option to go for.
I silently tiptoed across to his bed and tapped his shoulder "Jungkook" I say quietly only to earn no response. "Kook" I whined a little shaking his shoulder.
"Mmh" he says lazily craning one eye open "Oh well hello there princess. What brings you to my humble a steed at you-should-be-asleep o clock" he says sitting up and hugging my waist looking up with his sleepy face.
"Well I can't sleep so I came here" I said mumbling the last part while fiddling with his hair. "Awh would my baby like to cuddle" he says pulling me down onto the bed as he tightly secures his arm around my waist.
"But on a serious note, if you ever can't sleep always come to me Y/N. My princess needs her beauty sleep" he says lovingly while moving a strand of hair out of my face. "Now go to sleep" he whispers with finality while giving a reassuring peck on my nose. "Alright, alright goodnight" I say slowly letting the darkness win.
