As Jungkook was latched onto me I only just noticed the candle which was still burning bright. Standing, leaving Jungkook's grip, I walk to the candle and blow it out. Once I return to the spot on my bed Jungkook is already in a deep sleep as his mouth hangs open with his chest rising calmly. I step back into bed and pull the covers over both of us and like Jungkook I fall into a deep slumber without the clinging sensation which I oddly longed for.
I was in a park in-fact the park I would go to very often after school and meet him there. It was a pleasant afternoon with the sun shining, the birds chirping and the wind gently blowing on my face. I was in my uniform sat on one of the swings gently swaying myself with my feet still on the ground proving I should've stopped coming to this park a long time ago.
In the far distance I could see him walking towards me. His usual big bunny grin was plastered on his face as he quickened his pace to the park I was in. The pink blossom trees behind him were flourishing and looked ethereal under the sun's rays.
Finally making it to his destination he dumped his bag behind him and stood in front of me. When I looked up to meet his eyes he had lifted his hand and stroked my cheek with his thumb.
Before he could say anything the trees in the corner of my eye grabbed my attention. The once flourishing pink had become a dark and dull and the sky was coated with grey clouds. It was now silent as the birds had stopped. When I looked back at Jungkook he had the same expression of confusion.
All confusion was soon wiped away as behind him were a pack of screamers. Before I could react his eyes went from the shiny innocent ones to dark and blank. His face showed no expression as his eyes penetrated through me.
He body soon followed...bones cracking... the transformation was happening. My breathing was unsteady and very audible as he changed. My fear heightened as now there were only screamers approaching me. I fell of the swing and crawled back. I was screaming for them to stop they wouldn't stop approaching me. In amongst this I can hear a voice. "Y/N...Y/N you need to wake up." 'Wake up'...what is happening. Before I had anymore time to gather my thoughts they all attacked me at once.
My eyes shot open and i took a deep breath feeling the cold sweat lingering on me. The moment I woke up I couldn't breathe normally. My intake and outtake of breath were too short. Jungkook was already there as he had seen my distress while having the nightmare. I instantly knew I was having a panic attack. "Y/N you need to breath" he said calmly while brushing some hair stuck to face behind my ear.
My mind was a mess everything was just a blur. "Y/N" Jungkook said warningly "breath in and out other wise you're going to pass out" he grabbed my cheeks to face him and stared at me deeply. I was now crying as I was in pain "I can't" I croaked out. "Y/N it's fine I'm here. Just breath" he was now getting scared and fidgety while stroking my cheeks. I felt myself getting dizzy "Help me" I said while panting hard holding my chest and looking away from him.
In an instant my face was brought back by Jungkook's hands on my warm and damp cheeks. He stared at me deeply and questionably before lunging forward. His soft lips had connected with mine and my body instantly reacted. I was shocked but I replied to the kiss. With his hands still flush against my cheeks he pulls away.
"Are you ok now?" "Uhm y-yes...wait why did you kiss me exactly-like I'm not complaining-well yanno I was just-" "I read online that giving someone a shock can stop a panic attack...so uhm yea I kissed you I guess" I nodded slightly with a pout as I already miss the kiss. "So you can breathe fine now then?" He asks me "Uhm yea why-" I was cut off by him attaching his lips back onto mine while grabbing the back of my neck.
