Kristy, Gemma, and I hurried around my bedroom, re-checking makeup, making last minute outfit changes, pounding a few shots. "How do I look?" Gem asked. She turned to face me, she was wearing a black strappy tank top with cut off blue jeans and a pair of cute booties.
"Perfect!" Kris and I said in unison. "Now me?" Kristy asked. She spun around in her baby blue sun dress.
"So cute." I answered. I smoothed put my outfit. Black ripped jeans with an army green crop top. "And me?"
"Hot." They replied. Andrew opened my door without knocking, conveniently shirtless. He stopped dead when he saw Gemma.
"Yes Andrew?" I asked after a moment of awkward silence and my friends gawking.
"I was going to see if you wanted to pregame with the boys." He said. Kristy's eyes lit up.
"Sure, are they coming here?" I asked, Gemma flopped back onto the bed, looking disinterested in Drew while he watched her every move.
"Yeah, they'll be here in like ten. Break out the stash." He said, turning and leaving the room. I jumped onto my bed next to Gemma.
"Girl." I said, she peeled back her eyelids to look at me.
"Did it work?" She asked. I cocked an eyebrow at her. "My I could care less act? Did he buy it?" I smacked her lightly on the stomach.
"Just go for it! If you play Drew too long he'll move on!" I said. I grabbed the bottles of alcohol that Andrew and I had stored away and hidden from mom. I heard the boys as they came in the house. "Alright Kris. Game plan before we go down there. You need to pick a target." I said, helping her put the last curl in her hair.
"What if I don't want a man?" She asked with a smirk.
"Then you'd be lying." Gemma said, sitting up on the bed. "James." She said. I grinned.
"Good one G! James is a cutie!" I said, patting Kristy's back.
"Eh, not for me. Too childish." Kris said, putting on her earrings.
"How about Camden?" I asked. Her ears perked up.
"Not a bad idea." She said.
"Camden it is!" Gemma and I said, high fiving. I passed each of them two bottles.
"Bells! Come on!" Andrew called from the bottom of the stairs. The girls rushed out, and I took one more look in the mirror before following suit.
I placed all the bottles on the table, earning a few cheers from the guys. At least half of the lacrosse team was piled in my kitchen. I immediately spotted Luke and headed toward them. "Hey hottie." He said, looking me up and down. He wrapped his arms low around my waist and pulled me into him, planting a kiss on my lips.
"You're one to speak." I said, giving him a once over. He looked incredible in his ripped jeans, he wore an almost identical shade of green in his sweater, and a jean jacket over the top. "Did we plan this color matching?" I asked, gesturing between our tops.
"Great minds, think alike." He said. He slid his hands into the back pockets of my jeans, forcing me to lean up against him. Everyone happily chatted in the kitchen, taking shots and laughing. Andrew and Gemma seemed to have hit it off, while things between Camden and Kristy were slightly more awkward.
"How much you wanna bet I can out drink you tonight?" I asked Luke.
"Nothing. I want to bet nothing. You would die baby girl." My heart swelled at his pet name.
"What's your poison?" I asked, walking to the bottles.
"Whiskey." He replied.
"Well tonight we are drinking tequila." I responded, pouring two shots. He laughed.
