Amy
Alisha's face said it all, get in the rapidly growing portal. No one seemed to notice the strange hole in the floor not even our teacher who is busy being sassy to a group of idiots.
"Right, I wanna go first," i say as I slip from behind the desk and around to the portal.
Alisha is still staring at the portal.
"Bye sir!" I call as I jump into the glowing, swirling pool of mysticism.
All I see is blue and purple. Oh god that is really weird, I feel sick.
I hit the floor. Hard, oh Gods I think I have broken something. That is odd why is it really hot all of a sudden? Thud, I turn to see Alisha in a crumpled pile.
Alisha
Amy jumped through the portal. After an internal battle with myself I decided to follow, knowing she'd most likely end up dead without me.
I jumped through the swirling vortex of blues and purples. It's hard to describe what it felt like, but it sort of felt like a drop on a roller coaster.
Falling, I landed with a thud.
I let out a groan, my body still recovering from the fall. I noticed the change in temperature, it was warmer but not too hot. Then again, I did spend a good part of my childhood in Fiji. There's no winter there. Suffice to say I'm not exactly the best judge in temperature.
Looking around I see a dirt path. I think it's a road, and can hear what I think is a wagon coming.
I quicks yank Amy, who's probably still adjusting to everything, behind a nearby rock. As the wagon nears, I take a peek to discover it's not a wagon, but in fact a chariot.
The person on the chariot is dressed in armour. More specifically armour from about 1250 BCE, that I recognise from elective history when we covered the Trojan war.
Wait, Trojan war? The talk about Patrochilles before the portal? No, it can't be. That's ridiculous. But then again, so is a portal randomly opening up in math class. Could it be?
Were we actually stuck in the middle of the Trojan war?
