February 19 — March 20

Once there was a couple of kids... Trey and GG (short for Georgia) who played hide and seek on the play ground. GG was it and Trey was being chased. Trey ran so far and fast until they found themselves behind the "kissing tree". He stopped and GG cried out, "GOTCHA, my turn!" But he put his finger up to his lips and hushed her. Trey took one step forward and placed his hands on Georgia's shoulders, "do you love me Georgia?"
"Don't call me Georgia"
"Why not, it's pretty"
"Because i don't like it, tabby said it was ugly"
"Well I LIKE it"
And silence followed.
Suddenly Trey looked up and asked, "Can i kiss you? I think we should get married and tell everyone." Georgia studied the 7 year old in front of her, "why yes, I want to be married with you... and we can even have Debby be our baby."
"Okay, stay still."
Trey moved his face to her face and his lips to her lips and pressed them there for 5 seconds, he counted.
"Wow you're a good kisser!" Georgia smiled to herself.

9 years had passed since that day, when all of the sudden, GG had heard amongst the halls that some guy from Houston Texas named Trevor was moving to their school. GG knew there was no way it could've been her childhood sweetheart, but she couldn't help but wonder what she would say or do if it was her Trey.

A week had passed and she saw him in the hall and stopped dead in place, but he kept walking and she felt embarrassed that he didn't remember her.

7 weeks had gone by where they passed each other in the halls 3 times during the day and he still said nothing. She had tried to wave at him 2 times but he pretended like he didn't see it, even though they had made eye contact, not only when she waved but every time she saw him.

Tuesday on the 8th week, it was lunch hour and GG was sitting with her best friend when out of nowhere she was approached by Trey, "Georgia can i talk to you alone?"

"Um sure... what's up Trey?"

"I've been staring at you for weeks now and I can't get over how much you've grown. I feel connected to you, drawn to you. It's weird, I know. I can't help it, and so I'd like to know if maybe you'd hang out with me some time?-you know outside of the starring competitions we have every day."

GG couldn't believe it, perhaps the feelings she kept pushing away were in fact mutual. "I'd like that. Let me know when and where.."

"Oh I was thinking I'd pick you up from your house..."

"Alright, where are we going?"

And with that he smirked to himself and whispered, "it's a secret" and walked away. "Wait! What night?" I screamed from across the room. Speaking into the direction he was walking, "Friday!"

Friday night was extremely nerve wrecking for GG, she didn't know what to wear or how much makeup she should put on and so she settled for a good long sleeved shirt and blue jeans with just a tad of gloss and mascara.

He picked her up in his truck, as promised and they blasted the radio and sang to the songs that were popular when they were younger. Trey's car pulled into the parking lot attached to a play ground. GG started laughing so hard but immediately stopped herself when she noticed how Trey was looking at her. It was the kind of look that made you feel like the center of everything.

They got out and he chased her. They played on the slides, the swings, the merry-go-round, and even the monkey bars. Georgia hadn't laughed so much in months.

"Alright hide, im going to count," Trey said excitedly.

1..2..3..8..9..13..15... ready or not here I coooome!

GG's heart began to race as he spotted her in the tunnel. She sprang right up and ran for her life. He was gaining on her until he followed her behind a tree where he grabbed her and pressed her back to the tree.

"I've wanted to do this for a long time, so what do ya say... will you be my girlfriend? Maybe... in the future my wife... you promised. Remember you promised," he giggled.

The moment took 12 seconds.

"Yes... now kiss me."
