Chapter 16

Shane made a doctors appointment for today to help me with my depression. I've always had a little bit of depression, it was really bad when I was 13 but it just started acting up again. Once the doctor calls us into the room they check my blood pressure and all of that.

"So when did your depression start?" The doctor says.

"Well I was 13 and it was mostly because my mother left me, my dad took me to the doctors and they gave me some anti-depressients but then I met Shane and my depression died down, but my mom called me a month ago and told me she had lung cancer and I've just been out of it."

"So you've had depression for most of your life?"

"10 years yes."

After we talk and everything they give me some anti-depresents then let us out of the hospital. We get to the house and I take one of the pills which I have to take for 30 days.

"Okay babe i'm going to Trish's house to film a video, do you want to come?"

"Nah, her boobs are big."

"Well you have boobs."

"At least I can turn around and not hit people with them."

"Samantha Dawn I swear. Are you sure you'll be okay?"

"Yep, just fine." I peck him on the lips and watch him walk out into the car. I fall back onto the couch and pull my phone out of my pocket then start scrolling through Tumblr. Soon I get bored of that so I go to play more of The Wolf Among Us.

"Hey guys, Sam here, Shane left me for his other girlfriend so i'm here alone and I thought, what better time to play video games so here I am." After about 30 minutes of playing I hear the door open then close.

"BABE I'M HOME AND I BROUGHT DINNER!"

"I'M RECORDING!"

"I DON'T CARE IT'S TIME TO EAAAAAT!"

"He gets way to excited over food. Anyway we will pick back up in the next part. Thanks for watching! Bye!" I end the video and skip into the kitchen and pick up the burrito that he got me, then I go and sit beside him on the couch.

"I'm so proud of you. For going through all this."

"Thanks. I'm pretty good at hiding my emotions." I take a bite of my burrito. "So how was recording?"

"Good, we did this really gross challenge where I ate pigs feet."

"Thats gross. Never kiss me again."

"Well I guess the wedding is off."

"I'm not kissing a guy who has eaten pigs feet." The doorbell rings so I jump up and run into the door before opening it. Emma and Joey are standing outside. Emma walks in and straight to my burrito and starts eating it. "HEY SHANE BOUGHT ME THAT!" I take the burrito and start petting it.

"We need to go dress shopping." Emma says.

"Emma it's 7."

"Dress shopping...at night."

"I wanna go with Lisa."

"Well lets go to her house."

"Yay! Lets go!" I grab the keys off the counter. "Bye Shane, bye Joey."

"Your just going to leave me?"

"You ate pigs feet. And i'm going wedding dress shopping. Wanna come?"

"I'm fine you go." Shane says. Me and Emma laugh then run out of the house.

We drive all the way to Shane and Lisa's old apartment. It's her and her new boyfriends. I bang on the door and she opens it with her pajamas on.

"LISA WE'RE GOING DRESS SHOPPING!" I yell as loud as I can.

"It's 7!"

"Less busy stores, and the wedding store doesn't start closing until 12."

"Fine let me get changed. JAKE MY FRIENDS ARE HERE WE'RE GOING WEDDING DRESS SHOPPING FOR MY FRIEND!" Lisa yells. A boy with hair a lot like Joeys, and dark brown eyes walks out of the bathroom and smiles at us.

"Hey i'm Jake!"

"Hi i'm Samantha and this is my friend Emma." I say then shake his hand.

"So your getting married? To who?"

"Umm weird story actually, i'm getting married to Shane Dawson, Lisa's ex."

"Well it's nice that you guys don't let that get inbetween you."

"Well atfirst I would think that she would be out to get me but then I remembered that this is real life and shes an adult." I say. We both laugh. "Emma over here is with Joey Graceffa."

"Oh my hair twin!" Jake says. I laugh then Lisa walks out in some decent clothes.

"Bye babe." She pecks him on the lips and we get into my car.

"Emma randomly showed up at my house while me and Shane were eating dinner and told me that we were going to go dress shopping so thats why I have a burrito." I say.

"Oh. Thats nice."

"So, i'm thinking that the bridesmaids should be YouTube playbutton red, since your wedding is sortof YouTube theme. Shane's tie is going to be red also." Emma says. I laugh. "I can't wait for your suprise. It's super funny."

We get to the store and instantly the lady walks up to us smiling and shaking our hands.

"So do you have a reservation to be seen?" She asks.

"Yes. A reservation for Kilduff."

"Okay, so I will be the one helping you, my name is Molly. Who is the lucky lady?"

"That would be me." I say in a low voice.

"Aww, well don't be shy, what are you looking for?"

"Well Emma and Lisa are going to be looking for the bridesmaids dresses while I look for the real dress."

"Well Emma and Lisa, you can go over there and ask the girl with pink hair for assistance. She's the one that helps with the bridesmaids stuff, i'll be talking with you." She says then smiles. Emma and Lisa walk away, leaving me alone with Molly.

"I never got the chance to ask your name?"

"Samantha soon to be Dawson."

"Like Dawson off of Titanic."

"Well my fiance actually changed his last name and thats why he picked Dawson." I say then laugh. 

"Well what do you want for your dress?"

After I tell her all I want and she draws it out she measures me and my size then lets me go. I walk over to Emma and Lisa to see how they are doing and they soon finish after me. We all get into the car and drop Lisa off at her house and we go to mine. Once we walk in Joey and Emma leave leaving me and Shane alone in our room.

"It was fun. My dress is going to be amazing." I say.

"Great can't wait to see it." Shane says pecking me on the lips and turning off the light.
