Nash or Hayes

Chapter 3

I woke up at 9am when my alarm clock went off. I got out of bed and quickly texted Hayes

Me : Hey :) r we gunna have a picnic at the park? Or should I eat at my place?

Hayes :) : Umm. I'll bring the food :) PB and J sandwiches?

Me : yeah! I love PB and J :) see u in an hour :)

Hayes :) : yep. Bye :)

Me : bye :)

I got into the shower, got my make up on. Not much though. Dried my hair and let it fall loosely, and got into some jean short shorts, and a crop top that says 'Really Don't Care' (may or may not be from Demi's new song) and quickly brushed my teeth. I chose some purple flats and went up stairs. I looked at my phone

10:26am

Hayes should be here soon. I quickly yelled "Josh I'm going out for a few hours. I'll text you when I'm coming home!"

"Ok!" He yelled back.

*KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK*

I open the door to see Hayes. He had Jeans with a muscle shirt and normal sneakers.

Me "Hey"

Hayes "Hey. Ready to go?"

Me : "yep. Let's go. I don't really know where the park is so you'll have to show me"

Hayes "Ok"

We walked to the park and we say on the swings in silence.

Hayes "So how do you like it here?

Me "it's ok. I've only been here for about 2 days. But I like it. It's calm, peaceful, the parks are amazing with the flowers and the nicely cut grass."

Hayes "Haha. Yeah it's pretty cool here. Wanna eat?"

Me "Sure. I haven't eaten yet so I'm kinda hungry."

We laid out the blanket on the grass and got out the sandwiches. He also brought water.

Me "These are good!"

Hayes "Thanks. Haha. So.. uh tomorrow you wanna do something again?"

Me "Can't sorry. I'm doing something with Nash. He wanted me to go with him today but I said I was going with you."

Hayes "Oh.. ok. not to be nosy or anything but do you know where your going?"

Me "Nope. I hope somewhere fun"

Hayes "Yep. Wanna go climb a tree?"

Me "Sure."

We ran to a huge tree and climbed it. We sat on the same branch and he handed me a stick.

Me "What's this for?

Hayes "Carving. Carve something in the tree. This is now our tree"

Me "Ok"

I carved me and Hayes siting on this branch carving.

Hayes "Ok I'm done. Are you?"

Me "Yep"

Hayes "Ok now we show each other what we carved."

He moved over and I looked at it. There was two stick men but one was a girl. And they were swinging and the boy had hearts over his head.

Hayes "That's.... Us... on the swings.."

Me "That's awesome. It looks amazing even though were stick men" I gave him a smile and he blushed. He was really cute.

Hayes "Ok now let's see yours."

I showed him mine and said "It's us carving on this branch. Haha. It's lame I know."

Hayes "No it's really good."

Me "Thanks."

My phone vibrated

*New text from Nash :)*

Nash :) : Hey. U still with Hayes?

Me : Yep. Y?

Nash :) : Just wondering. I'll text u later. Bye :)

Me : ok bye :)

Hayes "who was that?"

Me "Your brother. Just asking me if we were still at the park."

Hayes "We should get back now. It's getting late."

Me "Ok"

We got down and packed up our left over lunch.

When we got to my place he said

"Nicole I had an awesome time. I hope we can do this again."

Me "Same. I had an awesome day with you too."

We stood there in awkward silence. Then Hayes looked at me and started leaning in. I didn't know what to do! then our lips met and fireworks went every where!

Hayes "Umm... I'll text you later. bye Nicole"

Me "Bye Hayes" and went inside.

I changed and brushed my teeth and went to bed. 11:30pm. Wow did not know it was that late. I quickly texted Josh I was home but he was sleeping.

I couldn't stop thinking about that kiss. I guess he did like me. I wasn't really thinning about it though. I fell asleep happy. I couldn't wait to see where Nash was bringing me.
